Lower the lights, turn up the volume and prepare for an incomparable audio sensation when you drop in Dragon Age II.

BioWare and the Dragon Age team have teamed up with the Grammy Awards’ Best New Artist nominee Florence + The Machine for an exclusive re-imagining of “I’m not calling you a liar” that you can only hear in-game in Dragon Age II. Produced by award-winning composer  Inon Zur and Steve Schnur, and mixed by Jack Joseph Puig – known for his work with U2, The Rolling Stones, No Doubt and Green Day, the song appears in-game as “I’m Not Calling You A Liar (Dragon Age II: Varric’s Theme)”.

Additionally, Zur returns to bring a wide range of dynamic music styles to Dragon Age II. From ethereal and mystical to bombastic and lyrical, his original score befits the game’s dramatic story and visuals and helps drive the heart-pounding action.

Keep your ears open as you play your way through Dragon Age II. :)

So will we hear it in the actual game?

Or will it just be in the end credits that almost everyone will skip.

If so, terrible waste of talent. :P

Yeah, like some others here, I'm curious where this will appear. Florence + The Machine doesn't seem to fit with medieval backdrops (though I do love them), so is this just gonna be in the credits or actually somewhere in the game like during some dramatic montage or something?

I just read on another website that part one of the soundtrack will be released at the same time as the game, with more tracks coming on April 12 and May 10. Does this mean that people who ordered the Signature Edition will only be getting 1/3 of the whole soundtrack?

Shucks, I was hoping Inon Zur would team up with the smooth dulcet tones of the ever loved crooner, Marilyn Manson.

I hope this is just stuck in the credits like it is in the demo. No offense to Zur, who does some nice stuff, but IMO, his DA work has been rather forgettable so far and pales in comparison to what Jeremy Soule is doing for Skyrim.

The Florence and the Machine song plays during the credits. You can already hear it in demo.

It's a great song choice I must say. The lyrics suit the game very well, and the new arrangement is lush.
