Hey I'm not sure if this goes here or not, and it's probably a pretty easy question among the more experienced people but I couldn't find the information I wanted anywhere.

I basically want to make starting packages etc, for npc companions like in the OC.   I'm guessing it's only use is to set a predetermined path for when the player clicks recommended on the companions level-up screen.

Not sure if it's a 2da I have to mess with or something, but thats basically what I'm trying to do.

If anyone knows more about how the starting packages work, or how to make npc companions more personal and unique I'd like to know that too.

Thanks,

Ixion.

I believe there are packages per class and these are defined in 2DA. I don't have the file list in front of me, but IIRC, the file name had some derivation of "package" in it. Should be easy to spot.

Yeah I found them, so do I just make my own from scratch and put them in their or just edit one of the class packages..?

It's best to learn by using working examples so find something that's close or similar and copy it. Then rename and edit those files. You will have to add your new packages to the main packages.2da. There can only be one active 2da of any given name.
