So here's a question that may require a Bioware answer...

I played through the PC demo twice.  I logged in before my first playthrough, and made sure that I was logged in already when I made my second run through the demo roughly a day later.  And I confirmed that I was still logged in after completing both playthroughs.

Unfortunately, for some inexplicable reason I didn't get the Razor added to my list of Registered Game Promotions.

I then played through the X-Box 360 demo, and promptly received the Razor.

But the Razor that I now have is the 360 version, and I'm getting the PC version of the game.  Is the Razor that I've received platform specific - i.e. will my character only get it if I play the X-Box 360 version of the game?  Or is it cross-platform - i.e. my character will receive it regardless of which platform I play the game on?

I also have the same question. I played the PC demo, but will be getting DA2 for the 360.

If I want the demo item on the 360, do I have to play the demo on the 360? That's lame if that is the case, I have almost no room on my 360hard drive...

The item is given to you based on the platform you use to beat the demo. I played the Demo on the PC, checked my promotions, got the item. I played the Demo on the PS3, checked my promotions, got the item.

You have to play and beat the demo on the system you want the item for.

Can't you temporarily uninstall a disk from your 360? Just the savegames really dont take up a lot of space.

Well, as I mentioned, it doesn't appear to be working.  I've beaten the demo on the PC three times now, and STILL haven't received the item.  Meanwhile I beat the demo once on the X-Box, and received credit for it.

On the other hand, one spot of good news is that your reply indicates that you can get the Razor on multiple platforms.  I had someone in another thread inform me that you could only get it on one.

Not that it's going to do me much good if I can't figure out why I'm not getting credit on the PC.

I'm having the same problem. I've played four times now on the PC, using all the classes. Other players have suggested hitting Escape with every cut-scene (did that). Others have said to UNcheck the box to automatically log you onto to your EA account and log in manually (did that, too). I keep getting the message that says that I'm disconnected from the EA servers. And yes, while playing, I check that I'm still linked to my EA account. And, no, I haven't received the Razor. I give up.:pinched:

Try starting the game with everything turned off and you logged in then press escape go to account and click restore defaults, I didn't have any luck with anything else but the time I restored defaults whilst playing the demo I didn't get logged out. Worth a shot at least.

blah, gotta remember to do a quick runthrough on my Xbox next week then. Don't care for a gold account so I did it on my ps3, but preorder is Xbox. Meh
