Drab is good.  I like drab.   I love the starter outfit and hope we continue to find similar non-robey mage clothing.  Really not into the mage robes that look like evening gowns or stripper costumes on the one extreme, and Chantry dress on the other.

I am definitely rolling as a mage on my first playthrough.

I personally love having my mages more support rather than damage, because i'd rather not have to burn through my potions for every character everytime they take a hit, i have my mage mostly healing/buffing and 1-2 attacks in between.

I like mages the most, since they really enhance the feeling you play some rare, special hero. Magic being special and the conflict with the chantry and all that. ^^



As a warrior or a rogue you are somehow one of many, at least thats my feeling. I would like to see some kind of special talenttree for each class for the protagonist in future bioware game. Like Fenris has his own talenttree cause of his background etc the same for the hero of the story. Bit more personalized and not some generic "blood mage" tree. Kinda like an: "champion of kirkwall" talenttree. ^^
