This is my favourite class, though rogues are pretty close to steal my heart too! I love how mages fight in close combat now and all the battle animations, can't wait to play as apostate, but also can't decide which class I want, they all seem awesome.

Anyone have any idea what spell Hawke is using in the Destiny trailer, the one which he uses to pull the Qunari apart? Is it a spell we'll be getting in-game?

At the beginning of the Dragon Age: Redemption trailer you can see a pretty huge dragon that has the same model so I'm guessing this is the new model for High Dragons

Yes mage page my first class in Origins was an mage so i guess this will be my first play as well.

Will mage outfits be mostly restricted to robes? The one from the Kirkwall part in the demo looks cool, but I'd really love to wear armor-like badass outfits such as the one you start the game with.

Crushing Prison and yes you do see it in the demo when you first kill the ogre in the exaggerated part.

The devs have alluded to armor for mages being available but you will have to spec your mage with strength and Con to be able to wear it.
