Mage.Lore-wise,they are the most powerful and their abilities interest me to be able to use such powerful attacks. Also,Carver is going to be my rival.
What class are you going to be and Why?

2H or dual wield(if its possible) warrior, I loveee melee ><
No dual eapons for warriors in DA2.
Anyway, either an archer rogue (surprising i know) or a dps elemental mage.

I will do a playthrough with each class.
I'm going with a Rogue first though because that is my favorite class in almost every game. The dual wielding fighting style is cool but I'm probably going with archery because I just loved how it played in the demo. Agile warriors = win. : )
Second playthrough, most likely warrior because I love melee classes. Third playthrough I'll be a mage (which they improved this time around, now you play martial artist spirit-monk mage instead of 'pew-pew' mage).
I'm a fan of melee classes, getting up close and making it real personal on the enemy. The rogue is like a ninja (interestingly enough, very Eastern fighting style for a European-esque medieval rpg, but I'm cool with it), and I like speedy, zippy characters. I also like warriors because they take damage and dish it back in the enemy's face. Mages are cool in DA2 but I don't care for glass cannons, too squishy for me.

I've always preferred mage because you can destroy things just by thinking about it, heal the sick, and raise the dead. It's hard to give up those kinds of powers just so I can use a sword.

Going for warrior this time. Was planning on rogue, but then bioware made a ninja out of them instead. I don`t really care for that.

First playthrough Rogue. I always use the class who's the best at interacting with the environment, I go for the one who's able to talk their way out of something and tech savvy enough to open/repair/build stuff etc... that's the Rogue here.
Second playthrough Mage. Fun with spells.
I have to force myself to play warrior (I still haven't played a soldier in Mass Effect1/2 in seven playthrough), they're generally not "tricky" enough to interest me.

Rogue
Due to that I enjoy it as much as a mage in DA2, and Carver's face scares the hell out of me.

Male mage for the Carver run (female mage run and stance makes me want to gouge my eyeballs out), female sword and shield for the Bethany run. One of these will be my import with Alistair as king and either married to my Cousland or ruling alone. The other will be the preset where Alistair is exiled if there's a cameo for that, otherwise I'll just use my import again.

I can't decide, I love all of them. I just don't like Aveline and that restricts me a bit, because I'll still be needing a tank, but since I am playing Fem Hawke, I think Carver would go better with that, so I'd need to be a mage. Then I'd be still lacking a tank.
Oh the issues... Fortunately there's still some time to go over it all.

Well, I know that I am going to roll a mage first, but after that I don't know. I actually like Archer gameplay now.

Eh, I'll probably do a playthrough for each class, but preferred class is definitely rogue, although the mages look especially awesome.
I don't know, I'm conflicted.

I HATE bethany...but I love rouge. I wish I could be like "WAIT CARVER, NOO!" then push Bethany in from the the ogre.

Never played a mage because they sucked on DAO or on any game for that matter, but in DA2 they look incredibly badass!!! So yeah, i'll be a mage first playthrough.

A female archer rogue. It's tradition.

Well my first class in Origins was a Rogue, so I will continue with that Tradition. Then followed by the Mage class.
