I realise Bioware had to make all the PCs and major NPCs the same height in order to program the cut scenes, but I wondering if would be possible to make a mod which adjusts the scaling of minor or random NPCs which you don't nessesarily interact with? Or is it that beyond the system's capabilites.
I was also wondering if any one plans to adjust the the height of elves in game so that it is closer to humans. Or would that screw things up too much?
Height and Weight adjustments.

Fatter / thinner NPC's / PC's would be great, I was really disappointed the morphing only dealt with the face and didn't even touch on the body.
Also, as I understand it the animations work using the skeleton of the creature, and every creature has a skeleton which moves based on the animation. I seem to recall that a Dev said you could do any animation with any creature due to the bones and the way animations use certain bones, though it would look silly on some of them. If you can resize the skeleton, I'd think it would work properly after a little bit of polishing.

I'd love to have a morphing option, although that might screw with cutscenes. Plus, in some ways, it won't work with the lore given to us. Dwarves are said to be rotund and short folk. Having a 6 foot tall, skinny dwarf wouldn't work. Elves, in almost any media besides Christmas stories, are taller and skinnier than humans.

Well, there are some problems. It is possible to write an external tool to scale models, but there is a complication that is introduced by the fact that NPC heads and bodies are separate models, so if you make the make the body skinnier, the head would not match the neck any more, unless you apply the same transformation to the head, which again is complicated by the fact that head morphs are quite special.. Also, if you make a body shorter, the head would be floating above it.
Now, those issues are solvable...just don't expect a solution to be available on day 1.

According to the devs, cameras (during cutscenes or dialogue) can be adjusted to the height of the subject in question. Many of the npc's are not human sized (i.e., ogre or dragon) but can be included in both cutscenes and dialogue. So, in a sense scaling is already an apparent factor.
As for resizing the elves, good luck... Not me.
