I don't think Bethany's voice is super terrible, but it can be a bit annoying. That bit where you first meet Aveline and Wesley is really irritating to me.

I'd say if you really hate her, either play as a mage so that Carver survives instead or tolerate her until you get enough teammates to switch her out of the party.

I don't get what's so bad about her voice?  I think it's fine, and in the "wander aimlessly" part it worked really well with her facial expressions. The only line that was kind of weak was the "Scouts - we'll have to deal with them sooner or later!"

Then i suggest you stay well away from ff13 because vanilles voice acting is the most annoying i've ever come across

PLEASE I want to play a Warrior but i can't with that Souless Harpy at my side. Everytime she talks i just wanna facepalm, i'd rather go the first hour into the game without a mage TBH.

So take another character in your party. It certainly wouldn't be the first time a player disliked a character's voice actor.

After playing so many JRPGs, I really can't complain. When I first played DA:O, I was in love with the voice acting! The only voice actress that does JRPGs that I can stand is Laura Bailey, most everyone else makes me want to rip my eardrums out.



So really, compared to that, I have no complaints with DA2. All sounds good to me.

What is wrong with her voice ?

Don't take her in your party ? You can skip dialogue if it's that much of a nuisance until you can switch companions.



I wouldn't complain if i were you at least you don't get the french dubs :/.

Also wouldn't be the first time, I avoided someone because their voice got on my nerves.  Happens all the time with my mother

Rebekah Staton is the voice actress and she sounds amazing

No.  That was Sigrun.

Which it took me a few minutes to realize.  Everytime Sigrun talked in my last DAA playthrough, it felt like she was trying to seduce me.

Sorry to break the news to you, buddy, but Lightning was played by Ali Hillis. T'was Liara, not FemShep.

My mistake, I knew it was someone main in Mass Effect. And thinking of Lightning's voice, does make me hear Jennifer Hale in my head.  Ali Hillis was good, and she did a good job on Lightning.  Better than Liara I would say, but that just shows the quality in variation.  Maybe I just didn't like Liara lol
