Has anyone else had a problem where the file appears to have downloaded, but has a size of 0, and then the message; "(file name).exe.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read." popping up? This appears immediately upon finishing the download.

Am a forum noob, but I'll attempt to include a pic.


I tried to run the file anyway, just to see what happened and it came up with another error message saying that the file was not a Windows32 file?

I'm using Firefox 3.6.13 and Windows Vista (Business, if that helps at all).

I have the same problem, haven't found a way to fix it though.

Slightly off-topic, but had a difficult time downloading the demo from xbox live with a slow/medium connection. Maybe the network was oversaturated as it was featured too prominently.

I think this was probably a combination of the Firefox issue you linked tracker05, and the fact that I have an awful connection where I am - as far away from all substations in the area as you can get *sigh*. Kudos to you for the link, I'm sure this will help me in the future too. Hope you managed to get the demo in the end.

I ended up using a Torrent because I got so fed up with it. I just wish I could have added to the counter.

Kaylzee, the torrent I used was this one, which was also linked somewhere else in this forum; http://www.gamershel...oad_70000.shtml. It's all legit, perhaps you could try this?

Now to go and fix the d3dx9_43.dll issue. *sigh*
