Okay, so I'm trying to make myself as a male Shepard. Pix of me below.

The closest I managed to make was this character code 242.DKE.NGW.W1A.J5Q.L9W.IJU.6FW.1G6.4E5.165.5

Unfortunately, that didn't look very much like me.:(

So my question is, how do I make the character look more like me, or perhaps, wondering if someone can make me a better character code or something to make my Shepard look more like me. As you can see, I posed with my face different directions like how you do the character face editing screen to help. I used a printout of these pictures to try and compare to the face as I was building it, but the result was rather unsatisfactory, and didn't really resemble me.

Note: While you can't see it well here, my hair is actually a very dark brown, rather than black like it might appear (and when I was a little kid I was one of those baby-blondes, my hair darkened throughout elementary school to dirty blond then brown, and became dark like this in Jr. High), and my eyes are actually a honey brown with golden flecks, a lighter brown than they appear in these pictures. I managed to get the skin tone rather accurate with the lighting, but my hair and eyes look darker than they really are in these pictures.

Also, is it just me, or is maleShep rather frowny faced no matter what you do with the face design. I kinda wanted to be a bit of a smirky maleShep, at least some of the time, as some of my expressions here.;)

Dunno 'bout modding anything.

The character creator has its limits. It's difficult to get a good match to any face, much less make any specific face look decent during the cut-scenes.

It just looks like your head shape is neglected in the editor, which has a few - but mostly as a stereotypical representation of the different races.

I also had a lot of issues with the eyes, since only 2 or 3 were oriented towards me, and I don't fit any spot-on.

Just do your best, and if someone who knows how to mod stops by, get 'em some cookies.

Try this
641.1H9.MH1.125.WIE.D9K.NWE.1UW.AM6.1W5.846.5
edit: totally different from your coding, tried yours out and we are way different... /edit
NOTE: Xbox 360 code without mods.... probably missed by a mile, but hope this is helpful.
Let me know if I came any where close.
p.s. start with a pre set then eliminate all hair, turn the face to the side and mess with facial structure and head until you get close to your silouhette (can't spell !) then fix the nose. If you can't get the nose right, go to the next pre set. I have found it gets me closer that way. but a lot of adjustments are just not available.

I think it's because of your hair.

You remind me of a Ted Bundy.

On subject, have you got Kinect? You can do a face copy on it if its hacked i think and possibly carry it over on to Mass Effect for pc? Proberly abit advanced, wish Mass Effect had a face thing same as Fight Night and Raibow Six, could make some real unique Sheps.

Thanks, this one is way better than my attempt.

What do you mean by 'mods'? I'm on PC version. Is there mods I can download which would allow more Shepard customization or something?

Edit: I don't have 'kinnect'.

there are a bunch of modifications possible with coding on pc .... check out the "how to mod" threads. You need to download and use a 3rd party set of programs.

sorry I don't mod, so don't even know which ME thread it is in.

Glad my try last night got you closer...
