I think you can get Alistair in a M/M/F scenario in Denerim though I think, according to the strategy guide you have to "harden" him to do this.

I know we're talking about Alistair here, but is romance possible with Sten?  I've not bothered trying with any of them (im not playing the sims here), but it would amuse me if it were possible with him.  He does have a hidden soft side, Leilana tells me.  Well, Leilana's subtitles told me, anyway.

Though as much as I adore Alistair and love him, in real life he may get a little too needy? Maybe. KNow what? I don't care. I end up sitting here grinning like an idiot when he's on screen =D

And to all you guys who think girls never date the nice guys, I always end up dating the nice guys. The problem with nice guys half the time is how very needy they get sometimes. Crying because I have to leave is not too cute. In fact it freaks me out a little. I like sensitive and nice guys but when you have to always pick them up and support them, well, its hard work! I would say I would avoid these relationships but unfortunately I fall for these people before I know it xD

There's a difference between a nice guy and a straight up poosay.

I agree - to an extent being a straight male however. Most of the male characters in other western party based rpgs (atleast the bigger characters when looking at the writing done for them) have always been neutral for me emotionally. As they've always given off this pessimistic vibe with them taking the cold logical route in their wit at every turn. Alistair however, is obviously the opposite. Where it makes me wish on fantasy terms that he was capable for m/m romance.

Awesome that my male mage can romance another guy!

I'm female myself, but enjoyed making a very handsome male character so I can watch him and his portrait all the time while I play.  But when I do that in games, I usually have to romance female npc's, which I'm not really interested in....    Too bad I'll have to create a female char and replay the game to get the male romantic options... LOL!   

But! Can my char have more than one romance going at the same time?  There are probably lots of women waiting to pounce my too-cute-for-words male elf... can he mess around with one of those too, or do I need to play the game over again for each new romantic interest I want to try out? (Both genders)

Oh, and - how many romantic interests are there?  Is it possible to romance every companion who has that stripe (showing how much they like you) in their profile? (Given you have the right gender for them..)

Here I was, looking forward to the end and all (not done with the game yet), fell in love with Alastair like..most other females who plays this game, seduced him until we became lovers and when the time came to choose a king/queen.... Well, first time I chose Alastair as king even tho he didn't want it, and guess what. my heart broke... -.-
My Dalish female elf cannot marry him because we've both got tainted blood (Wardens) and can't get any heirs to the throne (why didn't I see this coming?)....I was all like wtf??? I worked so hard for this??

So naturally, I reloaded my previous saved game, made anora queen and now I am still together with Alastair... am I selfish? xD he didn't want it anyway....

oh... but I was about to say...I did have romance with Alistair and worked Zevran up pretty much as well, but Alistair confronted me with jealousy lol. Even Zevran confronted me with this... ofc I picked Alistair. he's just the perfect guy... so naturally my rep with Zevran sank at least 20 points or so... so I doubt u can actually...ehm... do them both xD
