Well, I compared it to Paris Hilton on the way home from a night on the town. It's a very strange way of moving for a hero in a video game and not something I want to roleplay, that's for sure. It's only mage Hawke, I think, though. While warrior Hawke may have a bit of it, it wasn't something that made me stop an notice how asinine my character looked.

Edit: Apparently I was wrong about it only being the mage and the female rogue shakes her booty all over the place, too.

Well her run animation seems a bit off, but so is femShep's tbh. And in combat everyone moves as if they really need to go to the bathroom quick. So it is there but it is not really new.

I'm sure female players wouldn't want every female npc to look like a monster, either. It's idealized fantasy. Everyone looks good, unless it's intended to be otherwise.

I don't see why people think that the women in DA2 are too curvy.

Where I am from, curvy woman are the majority whereas slender women are the minority. The women of DA2 look fine to me, and while the walk may be a little unusual, I have seen plenty of women move that way.

They're pretty clearly overly-sexualised but I have for one have no problem with that.



Isabela's character redesign from DAO is one of the most drastic.

Thanks. As someone who walks a lot like FemHawke does, I find it amusing how "absurd" and "bizarre" that apparently is. Imo, walking like a hulking dude (a la DA:O) was far more bizarre.
