Don't think this has been posted yet.

Go to the 2:55 mark if you want to skip right to the gameplay - I haven't watched the entire thing but I don't expect any of the interview to reveal anything we don't know already.

To be honest, I really didn't notice the millions of books in the Circle either.

On a side note, that powerup animation for Tempest is pretty neat.  Primal Spells

"Getting rid of random books all over the place you don't even need."

You mean codex entries? Lore? And more importantly, free xp? :crying:

Pretty sure he means random piles of books that lay around and do nothing but give you blank ****ing vellum.

What the heck...I loved the Circle Tower, it's probably the few places in DA:O that actually looked like that there were people living there. When your environment is too clean you lose that sense of immersion from a living and breathing world. You can't compare a game to Kurosawa's movie when his intention was to focus on, and ONLY on the acting, the drama and symbolism. I don't know about other people, but to me, getting to know Thedas as a world is equally as important as getting to know the people that inhabitted the world. Part of the draw to playing a fantasy game is you get to "travel" to this exotic magical world that you would otherwise never have experienced.

I noticed the books :( does that make me a geek? I thought they added an extra layer to detail but I don't think they're neccessary

I thought it was kind of hard not to notice them, considering you pass by an entire library of them.

Wow, not a fan of this interviewer. Wanting to "teach the naysayers"? So other people can't just have diffrent opinions? You want to defend the things you like, cool. But don't run down others for having diffrent perspective.

And yeah, I did notice the books on the ground. And I thought it was a cool detail.

And wait, who complained about the story in Origins?

I think it finally beat the one interview with that screechy blonde girl for utter badness.

You should bear in mind that Silverman is probably the guy that came up with the idea to market the game with the stupid catchphrases likethink like a general fight like a spartan.

And yeah this interview has been posted before.
