I've nothing against Mr Silverman personally, but I learnt long ago not to listen anything he says. His interviews pre-DAO were just as cringeworthy.

Wow, the guy giving the interview was a complete ******, someone needs a good firing! "hey, I don't know what your job is, but it's ok I'm drinking on the job and I'm obviously not that much of a fan of the original because I don't know anything you're talking about!" somebody give that guy a Pulitzer

They wanted to change 3 things: graphics, story, combat. I don't see UI in there, yet several changes were made that lost both form and function.

I read this and thought, "I wonder if it's one of the interviews with David Silverman? Haven't seen him for awhile."

Poor guy. He's just too enthusiastic for we jaded forum dwellers.

Wow so he thinks being tactical is akin to being nerdy? So I guess Alexander The Great, Genghis Khan, and General Patton were nerds.

Lol @ dumbasses saying stupid ****.

This really was a bad interview made much, much worse than it had to be by an absolutely awful interviewer.

Its interviews like this that make me want to vomit.

The bashing of Origins for all the wrong reasons in these interviews makes me not want to bother with DA2. I'll be so happy when DA2 is out so the marketing can shut up for a while- their silence would be the best marketing of all.

I noticed the books :( does that make me a geek? I thought they added an extra layer to detail but I don't think they're neccessary

I thought it was kind of hard not to notice them, considering you pass by an entire library of them.

I think he meant the books laying in the ground throughout the mage tower and not the ones on the shelfs, it would be rather odd to miss the books at the library

He's just a brotard. You see em everyday with their loud voices, and Alistair hair cuts.

"Enthusiastic" for pure marketing people in my past experience = stretching the truth to the very boundaries of....of....truth.

Oh god, the thing he said about the Deep Roads and the Brecilian Forest...oh god.

"The cave portion and the forest portion were so different THIS IS WRONG".

So, your "consistent" is "make everything the same color"? I mean, seriously? The forest shouldn't look different than the caves?

EDIT: "In the Circle Tower there are a lot of books DID YOU EVEN KNOW THAT?"

Yeah, I knew that. I liked it, too, because the pre-Broken Circle was neat and orderly, and the post-Broken Circle was in disarray. It's called atmosphere.

I hadn't seen the footage, but I couldn't stand to finish the interview. It seems like he had a few too many drinks before being interviewed.

I've got nothing against him personally - aside from the aformentioned overzealousnes sometimes.

This man needs to, like, never speak in public again, right?

Because, you know, it's as if he, like, can't complete, like, a sentence without saying "like", "you know", or "right".

Please - put articulate people in front of the camera from now on.

Thank you.

It was quite terrible indeed. After 5 ''Right''s I closed it.

Honestly... the man needs to be fired. He's a ****ing tool, he markets his game to ****ing tools and it is him and his ilk that we have to blame for the ****ing toolification of DA2.

I usually consider myself to be rather non-reactionary to these things, but I can honestly say that this interview, had it been the only source of info for the game, would have made me firmly decide to not buy it.

LOL yeah he had me cringing too.

Can someone take screencaps of the new scenes? I don't think I can stomach listening to him again.
