With the last name of Hawke, the possiblities are practically endless.

For instance, I was thinking of going with the more traditional Ethan Hawke, Or maybe even Tony.
However, I think it would be super funny if a scene played out something like this...........


"Apostate! What is your name?!"
"York Hawke"
"Oh you smart ass."

or

Philmyk Hawke.  (pronounced Feel-Meek)

or

Gian'k Hawke.

or

Micheal Hawke. (goes by Mike)

Personally, I'm still deciding on a name, I might keep Garret but I'm considering Jared as well. I used my first name for my Warden so I don't feel like using it for Hawke as well (that name being Ralph).

I also don't think that it matters at all. I rarely remember that the first name of my main character in ME/ME2 is John and not Shepard.

I'm going with Mina for my FemHawke. The weird thing is, I was originally going to call my Hawke Mina (because I love that name), but then I changed my mind thinking  "Oh it would be cool to give my Hawke a name that means protector", only to find out that Mina does mean protector in Dutch. I guess I get the best of both worlds.

I'll probably call my Male Hawke Daniel.
