I thought about Lady Hawke (after the matthew broderick movie) but I think I'll probaby go to something like Elena (rogue).



For a mage I would have to go with Lina (fire mage) or Naga.



All females of course.



For males it would probably be Robin (rogue), Devon (warrior), or Merlin (mage)

I was going to use Iona as an altered version of my grandmother's name, Ioanna (a Greek name). With Greek pronunctiation Iona would be ee-own-a, but for most people it would be pronounced as i-own-a....which would be I own a Hawke. And that is awkward haha

"What's your name?"
"Iona Hawke"
"....That's great, but what's your name?"

Lady for my female ( thanks to a 1980s fantasy flick with the lovely Michelle Pfiefer).

Guy for my male. Simply because hawke rhymes with fawke as in Guy Fawkes.  Appropriate since I will try to bring Chantry down perhaps by blowing up the building., torching templatrs etc.

I always name my characters from Greek mythology. My first DA character was Arachne, the second was Ariadne, and my Mass Effect character is Antigone Shepard.

For DA2, I'm thinking of either Eurydice or recycling the name Antigone since it goes well with "Hawke"
