At first, I thought it was caused by the d3dx9_43.dll issue, but I used the fix posted on the forums, but this still happens every time I run the DA2 demo.

Crash after intro movie

I hit play on the loader and it brings me to the first BioWare intro movie. However, there's no sound playing (I'm assuming there is sound in that movie), and then the game CTDs.

If you are being serious about this question, you realize you have offered no useful information, right? What version? If PC, what OS ? What hardware? etc etc etc

Running Windows 7, 4 GB RAM, and an Nvidia 8800GTX. Does the game create a crashlog that I could post? Went looking through the game directory, but didn't see anything.

Okay, found my problem. The screen ratio wasn't set properly, and causing DA to freak out. It's working quite well now. Now about the lack of save points early on...
