interesting I never did look at that until just now . Last time I checked  it was this morning when I was talking to another EA support chat person and it was there.

Oddly enough its not there atm hmm could me switch the authorizing part from 1 to 0 cause the key to disapear.  Now then how I do get it back  that is the queston once i get it back i shall post on here this has got to be the best way to kill time people

It probably was never there at all, and it probably has at least something to do with your DLC woes. (I'm pretty sure it did with mine: I was never able to play off-line when I was using Windows XP, and discovered this CD key tip when researching DLC problems on Windows 7.)

i also will post now what is currently unlocked and what is unauthorized in order this way i can narrow it down what is going on. Will edit post when I get the list done here

ok i managed to get my product key put back in to the game however the dlc list still looks as shown above question is what do i do now.

And the things that I have already tried are :

this : "Go to the Steam folder, into steamapps, go thru common, and to the dragon age folder and go into the REDIST folder [it is close to the bottom]. Open it up and you should see two executable files with the names of:

1. DAOU_UpdateAddinsXML_Steam

2. DAUServiceSetup_Steam



Click on the first one [make sure you authorize it as a ADMIN if you are using WIN 7]

As soon as the progress bar is done and crap, click the second one. As soon as that is done, GO BACK to the previous folder where its the main folder for dragon age. at the bottom, there should be a thing called 'DAOriginsLauncher'. Click that and dragon age should pop up twice [it did with me]. As soon as that pops up, just click play [twice I would assume], make sure you are logged in with the right account. Load the DLC menu and it should be working."

Shut down Dragon Age: Origins



· In Windows, press the 'Start' button and select 'Run'



· In the command line type 'net stop DAUpdaterSvc'



· Navigate to 'My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Settings' and delete 'Manifest.xml' and 'Offers.xml'and 'addins.xml'



· Navigate to 'My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age' and delete the 'Offers' folder



· Navigate to 'C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\' and delete the 'DAUpdater' folder



· Navigate to 'C:\\My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\' and delete the 'AddIns' folder



· In the command line type 'net start DAUpdaterSvc'



· Restart Dragon Age: origins and log in through the downloadable content section and see if you can download the DLCs.

another update this is a nice saga we have going on here atm by running a few steps I was able to get the rest of the DLC at least i got 8 unlocked again expect for the following:

Return to Ostagar

Feastday Pranks

now what is strange is the cd key for the dlc says thats already been used and EA's support says the key is tied with my account if what they are saying is true then why isnt it showing up in my promotional items section while everything else that they gave me does?

at least on the plus side I used my $20 discount i got from EA's support to get spore so that will keep me busy but still there has to be something I have not tried

If it's not showing up here in promo items, then no wonder it's not being authorized. As far as I know, the promo items page is always accurate about what you do, and do not, have tied to your account.

Sounds like you need to ask EA support to add any Ultimate items that aren't showing up on the promo page.

Sounds like you need to ask EA support to add any Ultimate items that aren't showing up on the promo page.

basically I am being pushed from EA support to Steam back to Ea Support to steam and its a nice pattern.

anyways heres what the chat basically said :

so basically I have to sit around here and wait a billion years for them to email me i am thinking atm that I should just go and play the game and hopefully by monday ill get a response

also when i do apply my key it says "Unable to redeem code.

That code has already been used, and cannot be redeemed again. " so someone messed up the question is who steam or EA

If not all the Ultimate Edition items show up in your account here, I would guess it's EA.



Unless Steam somehow gave you a wrong code. But if the code did at least give you a good half of your UE entitlements when you used it, I'm guessing it was EA - either because they gave Steam a bad code, or because the BSN redemption system glitched somehow while working on your code.

yea it is EA I thnk becasue the 3 codes 1 which unlocked Awakening and origins works the 2nd code which is the DLC code does not work the 3rd code that EAs support gave me content that you got when u preordered and own the deluxe DA anyways for now i shall just wait for the email I just hope theyt dont send me back to steam because I am almost to the point of just saying steam give me back my money

well since this is on the 3rd page I figured I should bump it nothing new to report here I am still waiting for a reply from steam and EA. I think all they need to do is give me a new key that has not been used already. It is rather odd that I pay for a product in this case Origins and Awakening and the DLC but I cant use the DLC that I paid for and I have to wait because EA wont give me a new key and steam is saying to talk to EA sigh makes no wounder about things

I figured I should bump this just to provide another update. Got 2 tickets opened atm by ea I am attempting to try to get them to understand that this is not a problem with my machine or my game but its the key that you either gave steam to give to me or steam gave me a bad key. Also steam atm is looking into this they gave me the same advice EA gave me try this and try to authorize it. I just hope one of those 3 tickets one of them will say yea you need a new key heres a key to authorize your dlc content that you paid for. Thats pretty much all i want at this point.



Also once I do get this fixed and it authorizes I will be turning off autologin that way the content that I already have authorized wont un-authorize all by itself

nothing new to report however steam has answered my ticket again with this:

"Hello,

A staff member has replied to your question:

Hello, Our records show that you are the only user of this game code on our end. Since this is specifically a third party registration issue, they will have to resolve the problem for you. Unfortunatetly, we are unable to fix the problems you are facing on their end. " so as you can see something is going on thier end now if ea will just admit it to me that would be great or better yet just give me my dlc how hard is it to manually give to me the dlc authorize that i paid for......
