Here is another problem.. I cant get the free DLC because I have to join xbox live in order to do that?
How is that fair at all considering I can download it for free for PC and get it..
I think Bioware really needs to just give us the free dlc if we have done it once on another platform. This is really dumb we have to pay to get a demo

Wont be suprised if sony dont start the same thing with playstation plus, if they do that i may be done with consoles, and have to invest in a gaming PC.

So, what's the problem?
And did you get any DLC for Origins? How did you manage that?

It's not Bioware's fault. But I think you know that.

well considering it is impossible to download anything for xbox with out xbox live (and has been since the original xbox, as that is just what they call their online service...), yes you have to have have live to download DLC. there is not a single thing about that fact that is being done differently for DA2 than has been done for any xbox game, ever, so what exactly are you complaining about?

Yea, a silver membership for XBox live is free.

OP is obviously talking about Gold, which is the paid service, since you can only download the DA2 demo for Xbox 360 for the first week if you have a Gold account. Next week it will be available for anyone with a Live account, Gold or Silver.
And anyways, as others have said this is totally Microsoft's decision. Go **** at them, Bioware have no control over it.

Wrong. BioWare could bypass this by having the Demo avaibale through Dragon Age: Origins in-game store, since it is their servers, not Xbox Live's.

but this isn't DA:O DLC. It's a demo for a new game.

OP is perfectly clear, some people are simply unable to make inferences.
OP is also foolish and wrong, but that's beside the point.
