Current Quests is the tab you get when you push J or click on the Journal button up top. Under "Premium content" (p.s. does "premium" indicate "paid for" to you, or perhaps DLC? Since that's what Stone Prisoner is - free DLC) is a quest to go to Sulcher's pass, which is a golden icon, different from the others - further indicating that it could, perhaps be premium content. Click it.
Sulcher's pass was on the map before I installed the DLC as well.
You insulted a bunch of people because you couldn't do a simple deduction that a dead cat could make. How does that make you feel now?
Could you figure out where and how exactly to use toilet paper since it wasn't written on the packaging?

You're as bad as the old lady suing McDonalds for her hot coffee spilling and burning her. You've been told how to find the quest in your journal (it does say QUEST JOURNAL not DLC TAB) and yet you still yell at people for helping you out. Granted this is the internet and your actions here rarely harm you in the real world but that doesn't mean you're required to be a neanderthal.

As Joklem pointed out your journal is not the same thing as the Quest tab of your journal.
You even specifically wrote yourself ZeroMystic that step 4 is:
4. Once installation is complete, follow the instructions in the Quest journal
So, go to the Quest journal screen and follow the instructions.

I'm really proud of you guys helping this person here today. Because, looking at the way he/she responded to your various attempts at genuine help, clearly this person doesn't deserve yout time and effort.
OP; you have some serious anger management issues. Your attitude stinks...

Everyone in here has brought up completely 100% unrelated and useless facts that have nothing to do with anything. People are trying to use irrelevant points to try and justify their side of things.
1. Since I was not told to open the map and look, nor that it shows up on the map the way people are saying it does, then that is 100% pointless and has no bearing on this.
2. Since I was not told that it's a quest, nor was I told what quest it was, that is also 100% completely pointless and has no bearing on this either.
3. People need to stop forcing into this that I even wanted to be told how to find this, becuase I never said that and I never once asked for help.. So the fact people are complaining, I am not listening to people or that i have been told aready where it is ... is also 100% completely pointless and has no bearing on this.
In order for the DLC to be known, you have to be told it's a quest and what quest it is, and where to read this information in your journal....That is the point.

Sorry, here's how you sound:
Since I wasn't told how I was supposed to use toilet paper, I pierced a hole in it with my finger and wiped my ass with my finger still through said hole. I thereby sue the company because I now have **** on my finger

Joklem, look here steakhead,
You have instructions on a DLC promo code card. To go read your quest journal
The info comes from a promo DLC
So the instructions for obtaining that DLC, are in the DLC tab of your quest journal.

Why any of you are still trying to help this obnoxious ****** is beyond me. Just because he wasn't as bright as the rest of us who easily figured out is no excuse for his attitude. He should be expressing gratitude and humility.

This steakhead along with other steakheads in this thread figured out where it would be within milliseconds the first time he opened his world map, before having installed the DLC.
Oh and you even have poor reading comprehension!
TO UNLEASH THE FURY OF SHALE:
1. Enter in your code at dragonage.bioware.com/redeem ***redeem it
2.Start Dragon Age: Origins and log into your EA/BioWare account ***start the game, log in
3. Go to the Downloadable Content menu to view the download progress ***Click on the DLC button in the game menu
4. Once installation is complete, follow the instructions in the Quest journal ***Once installation is complete, load game and open Quest journal
1) One needs to download before playing, done from the main menu
2) One needs to load a game to play, and there is no Quest Journal button in the main menu.
Therefore, from the data above, Downloadable Content is relevant to the main menu button named as such, and nowhere does it instruct you to go to the Downloadable Content tap of the Quest Journal in-game, not to mention that you would notice the quest if you bothered to read your Quest Journal, which is something required in gameplay.
Why are you still arguing? The first two replies were people trying to help you, and you're still arguing your heavily flawed, idiotic opinion.

Why the hell do you guys keep answering him and trying to help him? He is obviously just looking to complain! Let him rant in peace, maybe he will get tired and actually leave this board and its users alone.

If you are directing that statement towards me then I am boggled as to where you managed to pull that from considering I never ever once ever said it was. I clearly said that your quest journal has a DLC tab and

It is clear that ZeroMystic is a troll since a) he clearly is not asking for help,
though his statements are sound as to why he got confused he is unwilling to agree to any logic that would have lead him in the right direction, and c) he is just plain rude. Pay no attention folks, nothing to see here.

jesus are you for real? It says look in your journal to follow up on the stone prisoner quest. You look in your journal and under PREMIUM CONTENT it says to go to sulchers pass. What else could it be for? Another mystical premium content quest? I really dont get your attitude, you say it doesnt help you know what is what but yet it actually does 'look in your quest journal' now forgive me for assuming that you know.. when you first start the game you DONT HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTS! Man come on!

So when people decide to smarten up and realize no insrtuctions have been given to this, this makes the DLC impossible to access with only the information you have been between teh code card and yoru journal.
(sorry for having this stuck in the quote box, not used posting on forums much)Clearly it is not impossible unless you live by a code of conduct that requires you to only follow the instructions given on your download card and take no action unless it is specifically stated on that card. Your overall point in Bioware not giving clear step by step instructions on were to access your DLC is correct though. For the record and since you asked how any of use were able to find where the DLC started, I clicked on the quests tab and saw premium content, clicked on that and knew one of them was Warden's peak and one was shale. The one without the word "peak" in it I figured was Shale. I was right. Guess I was just lucky.

Rather than continue to go back and forth we are all going to use pure logic and facts.
Lets take two DLC pieces and compare them to each other.
Blood Dragon Armor:
Says right on the card number 3. Once Installed follow the instructions in the quest journal.
Now we go into the DLC tab of the journal NOT THE QUEST PART and you will see that it explains exactly how to get the rest of the pieces of the Blood Dragon Armor.
NOW WE LOOK AT THE STONE PRISONER:
It says right on the card in step 4 THE EXACT SAME THING AS IT SAID IN STEP 3 OF THE BLOOD DRAGON ARMOR
Once installation is complete, follow the instructions in the quest journal.
Now REMEMBER WHERE THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE FOR THE BLOOD DRAGON ARMOR IN YOUR JOURNAL...YEP...THE DLC TAB.
So why would you look anywhere else?
So this ends this argument as far as I am concerned...
If I have to I will start posting screenshots to totally shut people up.
