me, it's gotta be VIKING: BATTLE FOR ASGARD,
I freaking love that game, such a great setting, such great buildings and geography,
and the freedom to play it as slow or as fast as you like,
i've played it through twice already, leaning towards the third run atm actually...
anyone else got a guilty pleasure they'd like to share?
games you LOVE that everyone else seems to hate

Warrior Blade Rastan Saga Episode 3. It's shallow but fun in a 80's action movie kinda way. I enjoy this game but most people hate it.

The Romance of the Three Kingdoms series often gets panned for having too much menu shuffling.
What they don't mention is that it's the best menu shuffling since someone invented the sit-down restaurant.

I love FFXII. I'm always amused when I play DA:O. It uses FFXII's battle system ****** for tat. Seriously, they just changed the interface.

Two Worlds.
Treat the game like its a parody of an RPG and you'll find it to be the funniest thing in the world.

The most conspicuous is probably Oblivion. While there are some valid complaints about it, the number of negative comments don't really seem to mesh with my own experience. In which case I'm glad to be different...

Borderlands & Mass Effect, my mates seem to hate them saying they have gimmicky features for a shooter which I find ironic considering they play COD, not that I don't mind playing COD games myself now and again but it's still pretty funny for them to say.
I really liked the open world (ish) areas in FFXII, yeah it felt a bit boring toward the end but exploring was still enjoyable which is what FF is all about for me.

definitely Alpha Protocol, while I see the occasional positive review there's a hell of a lot of negative, which is a shame because despite its flaws it's a hell of a game
and if these forums are any indication then liking DA2 puts me in the minority, but it was the same for a long time around the ME2 release
