I concur with this. If it isnt plays fault (although poor service from Play is in-excusable regardless) then I expect at the very least an apology from EA. Someone has messed up horribly and I wont to know who. Im solely blaming Play at present because Chris correspondance with us suggests Play shouldnt be having stock issues.
Oh, it's definately still a problem with Play.com too. Their treatment of customers and inherent lack of care about the whole thing is completely unwarranted and apalling. However, EA's own handling of this entire thing is non-existant, which is equally unacceptable. If Play.com shouldn't be having stock problems but claiming they are, then EA should step in and say "wooh, hey, we have plenty of stock Play, leave the pre-orders alone". It's not like we're complaining about prices or what DLC is being given, our whole orders are being cancelled for apparantno reason.
