I'll not be shopping there again though. I mean, whilst the issue is being resolved....you guys shouldn't have had to go through that to begin with

Well there seems to be a lot of issues with this signature edition offer, but with play it was just some bad communication and understanding. I feel confident shopping again there now (plus i have the contact details of that nice lady still) so at least if things do go wrong i can email her regarding the problem if CS are poop

I'm glad my persistance and stubborness paid off

Bioware does not know the supply need of a vendor. Vendors place orders and the publisher burns a certain amount of DvD's according to the Vendor request. Most pre-orders are limited by the Publisher per-vendor. It's up to the vendor to tell its storefronts to not offer pre=orders over this amount. If your vendor got greedy its not Biowares fault its the vendors.

This is why I pre-ordered with Bioware/EA directly for a Digital download.

Hope I'm not putting the kiss of death on it, but I pre-ordered mine on the 08/01/2011 and it still says pre-ordered. Hopefully I won't get the shaft so close to release.

pfft! they put my order back as preordered and i was promised a copy as i ordered well before the cut off date, now its cancelled again ? wtf are these idiots playing at ?

apparantly some numpty is still cancelling even though, it was clearly explained that they should not even be doing so.

UPDATE : now its back as preordered and my copy is there :)

will breathe huge sigh of relief when its actually in my hand ready to go into my xbox

my Play.com order status has now gone from "Order placed" to "packing" its looking promising!

Just been sent! I have recieved a code for the amulet of ashes, but not for the Sword and shield (Preorder before march 8th bonuses yet).... it says on the site they should be emailed out, and play is one of the participating retailers.

I got the amulet code about 5 hours after the email telling me the game was sent, that was also the only code I received. It was marked as sent on the 8th, haven't yet received the game itself though
