Two important questions - What are the best tactics to fully use an archer companion.

I keep getting messages of acquiring some skill after conversations but don't see them, how do i find them or activate them ?

1. I guess you mean Leliana as the archer companion. I usually turn her into a dual wielder but for archer I would say rapid shot and suppressing fire would be good choices.



2. They are listed either where companion's talents/spells are or where that companion's skills are, I can't remember which.

not that, i mean the Tactics slots every character has, what would be the best instructions to setup for an archer ?



Am i correct then those unlocks through conversation are not for the PC but for who ever i was talking to?

I don't know on that one then. I've beat nightmare a couple times and never really used a bow.



Yeah, your companions get the bonus, not you.
