No, it's like changing NPC 2342 into a black guy and pretending he is still NPC 2342.

The warden is a custom character. So either you have to make him or her new for future DAs or they import face information from DA:O and screw up badly. So I guess the first thing is going to happen. If anything.RPGamer13 wrote...
Yeah, I love the new look. I wonder what our Wardens would look under the redesign of the look of the game and characters.

Which is also why the liklihood of our Warden in the first game is going to make a come back for DA3 very slim to none. Honestly, Im not that sad about it. I was at first for a nano-second, then I just shrugged and said "maybe Ill like Hawke better'. And sure enough, so far I do like Hawke better lol.

Nah, just kidding. I have no problems with it.
If we take DA:O Isabella -> DA][ Isabella as an inpulse response for a conversion between the two games - we won't recongnize our warden.RPGamer13 wrote...

Well, they could hide or change his/her face with some plot surgery. It has been done before. Keeping only the race/gender or importing some actual face values (generic structure, not affected by mods). But meh...I dont see it happening.

That's what I thought at first too, ala ME2 at the beginning when you're on the SR1 as the Collector attack starts. You see Shep put on his/her helm and seal it, but the lighting/angle was done where you couldnt see his/her face. But given the fact that DA2 has shifted entirely to a "new" protagonist all together (IMO isnt a bad thing either.) it really does decrease the liklihood of the Warden's return in DA3. Another reason also being that now they've decided to use a voiced main character, they'd have to give one to our Warden as well in DA3. Because let's be honest with ourselves, they are NOT going to go back to the voiceless main character for DA3 lol.

Yeah, companions are just as significant as any random npc. Great logic.

It has already been said before. Isabella on DA:O was a minor character. They didnt bother to make a new model for her, but just use generic NPC presets. Thats why she looks very similar to some other characters. She is still Riviani though. Now compare it to Duncan, WHO IS ALSO RIVIANI. Duncan has dark skin! See the math here? Actually in DA:O Isabella should have been dark too, so now in DAII she looks more like what she should have been.
Minus perhaps her breast size but that is a different topic for different thread...

Actually, it really is. And it really IS as simple as "Accept what they did and get over it." or "Be petty and dont play the game based on how an NPC from the first game's model was remade."
I dont see you *****ing about how Flemeth's model was remade.
