She also got a tan and dyed her hair, and also, she decided that not even light armor was a good idea.

The Origins Isabela's model was that of a random NPC, not really true to her actual Bio. Take Duncan for example, he was a Rivani as well, tanned skin, black hair and all. Good thing they fixed it.

In Dao she was as light as I was (medium skin tone maybe) and had brownish hair.

The shine on her face makes it look lighter than it should, Check it out without the lighting effects.

His mother is Rivaini, if I recall correctly.  In The Calling they are living in Orlais.  I assume he means he was born in Highever.

Back on topic.... I really have nothing to say that hasn't been said ad nauseum, and the complainers continue to complain... Seriously... Random Nobody NPC becomes important, they get a redesign.  It's NOT like they changed the Witcher as someone said, that would be significant... this isn't.

QFT  - Seriously, the nerd rage on flemeth lasted shorter than this and she was an actual IMPORTANT character in origins.  But here we have Isabella, a nobody NPC from origins who gets a redesign and all of a sudden, the fanboys come out in droves to ****** and moan about it...Honestly.

To be fair, Flemeth has the whole shapeshifter excuse to fall back on while Isabela is just a new art direction/needed a new unique look for the game.  Personally, I don't think she looks THAT different.
