Do you think there will be any deals for this game next week?

So, right now, it seems like EVERYWHERE has it for $59.99 (both PC and console), and they all have the exact same pre-order bonus items (except I think EA Store has some minor thing and Best Buy has some minor thing).

Was just wondering if anyone thinks that there will be any deals closer to release (like usually the big retailers put out their weekly circulars that have some deal for the new releases)?

I'm definitely going to pre-order it, but I'm not sure if I should just do it now or wait until the day before to make sure I don't miss anything.

Only movies have release deals like that. Games never have, in my experience. Or at least, not as far back as I can recall.

Yeah what you see now is what you are going to get. I would just preorder next time you are someplace you can.

doesn't come out "next week." You might see a release day deal at a major retailer like best buy for ten dollars off msrp.

Well shops like Gamestop might have trade-in deals. Typically if you trade in old games for new ones on release day Gamestop will like give you an extra 10 - 20% on your trade sometimes they also give a discount if you buy the guide also on release day. As for deals like lower prices I highly doubt it on release day, though I got DA:O digital edition a week after release on sale from Gamestop.com.

That's not true at all.  If you look at the Best Buy circular for this week if you buy Bulletstorm (which came out this week) you can get Gears of War Triple Pack for $5.  No one knew about this deal until the ad for the week came out.

I don't know if people who pre-ordered from Best Buy could partake in this deal...they probably could, but still my original point stands.
