Who would win if Aveline faced a group of devs in an arm wrestling match?

But...but... if nugs can do the shark-thing, then they must be shapeshifters, and mages, and apostates! Has anyone told this to the Chantry? The nuglets have sekrit skillz.

Actually, I'm pretty sure there was an exalted march against nugs at one point

There's a dimensional rift in Des Moines that we tapped into that happened to be full of arrows. it's the same place where Hank gets his energy arrows from in the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon.RabidWHM wrote...
I got a question. I do not know if this was answered. Where is Hawke getting his arrows from in the dem? Is he even shooting arrows? Where is his quiver? lol
Since you'e not playing your DAO Warden in Dragon Age II, your choice of weapon in the first game is irrelevant to what weapons Hawke uses.TheSarex wrote...
What would happen if we imported our saves where we played as an dual
wield warrior. Would we see the warden (in DA2) as a dual wilder or
what?
I dunno, some... ish, maybe more, maybe less?-Skorpious- wrote...
Hmm...can you give me a rough estimate on how often things like this might occur?

No, no I didn't mean that we play him, I was wondering how would Hawk (and other pople from da2) "see" him? Because dual wield warriors don't exist in DA2... Or do they but only in Ferelden? XD

I don't think anything replaced it. the leapy-smashy ability is probably the warrior's Mighty Blow animation.yolojo wrote...
what replaced it for the
warrior hybrid abilities? Force mage?
Sorry, but I'm a bit confused. The Hawke in those trailers was a mage, he leapt up in the air with the Staff of Parthalan and smashed down at his enemies (Champion trailer and he did this in the Destiny trailer too)...so the one who made the trailer decided to mix the animations up for the cool effect? What I gather from your reply is that the mage CANNOT do this in the actual game?
I'm sorry if I'm being a thorn.

I think you should stop reading so much gameplay into the story/lore.TheSarex wrote...

Well I wanted a serious answer but I guess that's a no? Or you can't say?
Trailers are a way to give people an idea of what your game is like, and if you made it like I can perform certain stunts in the trailer but in fact I can't in the actual game...that is a bit upsetting (champion trailer was all in-game too, so I thought it was probably a showcase of gameplay skills). It would be even more upsetting if I can't learn that summon-demon-hand-rip ogre's body spell, and it was just me reading too much into a trailer.

I tried a S&S warrior in the demo (for example) and used the shield bash ability. pressed button, awesome..
What happened next was not so awesome. I was expecting Hawke to leap after the fallen foe and keep wailing on it. Nope, he just stood there. He completely lost his target and forgot what he was doing after using the ability (or any special ability)
Please tell me this is fixed in the real game!

That is no fun. Shepard "There is no thermal clip for this pistol!" Me "What the H is a thermal clip?!"
So next question is Ser Pounce A-lot alive and well? Hmmm???

To alleviate your concerns, there also won't be that much slow-motion when performing attacks, and there won't be giant blocks of text appearing randomly during combat encounters. But until you actually play the game, you won't find out about any of this stuff.yolojo wrote...

His answer was pretty clear to me. he agreed with your last sentence.. The hand rip thing is in the game though. It's a Mage finishing move. Bethany uses it in the demo. leaping and bashing, not so much.
EDIT Demo not trailer

I was a fool to ever have thought I could get a real answer out of you. As you say, I shall wait and see.

I would've preferred a more certain reply. Since the trailer I'm talking about is all IN-GAME (champion trailer), and not the CG concept trailer which is Destiny trailer. I think it's pretty normal for your consumers to assume you can do things shown in an IN-GAME trailer, no? Alas, I was still not too sure about that so I wanted to ask in case I misled myself, but I was given a not very firm answer. It sounded like he too wasn't sure himself since he said it might be the warrior's smash. But...like I said...I shall wait and see, and remain hopeful.
EDIT: Realized I was a bit rude. ...and why would they use a mage as the placeholder for warrior skills.
