Will the party walk behind the player when the player walks in the final game, rather than randomly jog behind the player?

Does your laundry duty have anything to do with Isabela's lack of pants? If so, keep up the good work.

You can see this in the Livestream with Mike Laidlaw, so yes.

Could you please change Hawke's Mage Armor to a pink dress? I'd like to see the look on his face when he finds out he's up to defeat the dragon in that.

You can see this in the with Mike Laidlaw, so yes.
I saw that video, but then when I downloaded the demo the jogging was back, so I'm just basically looking for a bit of confirmation. Though I do believe that the demo build was most likely older.

Stan, since you seem to be lurking here, i feel the need to remind you of my promise. if the word "Douchecanoe" appears, in any context, in Dragon Age 2, i will personally drive the 15 minutes to the Bioware Offices, ask to see you, silently hand you a $20, and go about my merry way.

Yes. This was put in the game so that more hardcore RPG players can identify with him.

1) I realize that the DLC code for the Dead Space 2 armor is compatible between PC and 360 but not PS3. This is really bothersome since I have a Dead Space 2 game but my 360 died on me, so I'm going to get DA2 on PS3 (I have a Mac and I actually prefer console gaming). The code isn't going to carry over I know, but I'd like to know the reason behind this. Is there some kind of business deal? Or programming trouble? Will it work in a future patch or something?
2) I know that the Staff of Parthalan is the sword staff in the trailer. This weapon is actually one of the main reasons that I want to play a mage in DA2. I'm just wondering if there are going to be more staff/sword hybrids in the game or is Staff of Parthalan the only one of it's kind? Since I'm going to assume it's not going to come with good end-game stats since its a DLC item.
3) In the champion trailer we see the mage Hawke leaping in the air and slashing his opponent with the Staff of Parthalan. I just want to know if that's just an animated trailer or if the mages actually have the skills to engage in melee combat. I ask this because Arcane Warrior is out of the skill tree now, and is wondering what replaced it for the warrior hybrid abilities? Force mage?
Thank you for your time.

Alistair would protest that there is nothing wrong with that. I would ask what's the contextual difference between him, these self-proclaimed "hardcore" rpg players, and Hawke.

Plus, Hawke is such a badass he/she doesn't need to have the better clothes. Why are the mages robes even uglier than ever??!! FUGLY! Really.. WAY worse than before!
Your Hawke is incredibly good looking and with such a great body that they choose to be modest so as not to make the rest of the companions feel bad.
10 years of gameplay? Well then. What is the story!
You runaway for a year
You fight some stuff for 8 years.
You become Champion of Kirwall for a year.

I actually have genuine questions that I posted in other board that were not answered. So if you can answer them I'd be very glad. None of the questions are related to the story or things that you probably aren't allowed to say I hope.

1) likely, it's a problem getting Sony's coding to mesh with PC/xbox coding. the PS3 is, apparently, not designed to "get along" well with others.
2) i've seen at least 2 other sword staffs, and the mage staff in the demo seems to have something resembling a spear tip, so i'd expect to see various styles of bladed staff.
3) There are melee animations for mages if their target is at close range (damage is the same as if you were shooting them at range). as to hybrid classes, i've intentionally not looked at any talent/spec info, so i can't help you there.

1) Not trying to compare the developers. But seeing as how Portal 2 has cross platform gameplay with PC/PS3. I was hoping a simple code would work. Wouldn't it be solved if it registered with my EA account like many other DLCs? Now my code is kinda useless because I doubt I'll give a crap about my 360 again. I've had enough of RRODs.Black_Warden wrote...

2) Really? I've only seed the Staff of Parthalan. The staff in the demo does indeed have a sharp tip but I'd hardly call it a sword.
3) I realize that the mages have melee animations, but the one in the champion trailer it looked like an actual melee skill. Hawke leapt into the air and smashed down. I've actually seen two instances of this happening, but I'm not sure if it's just an exaggerated trailer or cutscene. It's really cool and I'd love to be able to do that in the game. So if the dev can give me a word I'd be happy.

Nope, not even a little bit.

Good question.
Can nugs swim?
I threw a couple dozen nugs into the lake once. Some of them didn't make it, some of them stole my boat, and some of them turned into sharks, so I would have to say it's... inconclusive...

Is there a reason why when selecting a tactics default like 'tank' or

I dunno, you'd have to ask the GUI artists and the designers.

Yes! no! Maybe! I mean, shut up! I'm, er, holding them for a... friend... or something... shut up!

Yes and no.

I don't think anything replaced it. the leapy-smashy ability is probably the warrior's Mighty Blow animation.

The Cave of Dar'Missu - Hawke visits this cave in three different
quests, but for different reasons. For example, Hawke kills a group of
bandits in the cave on one occasion, summons a demon and defeats it on
another, and lastly lures a political foe to his death using the cave as
an ambush. Three different objectives, but still the exact level with minor changes.
Then all I can say is maybe.
Hmm...can you give me a rough estimate on how often things like this might occur? Frequently, a handful of times, rarely, ect.
