Do you think you'll still play DA:O after they release the sequel?

I hardly have time to play all the backlog of new stuff. Not sure I will be re-visiting DA any time soon. I've played it once with each origin anyway. I do still need to play Golems of whatever and Awakening.

Definitely! Even though it'll probably take some time getting used to Origin's combat system after playing and loving the combat system in DA2. I love the story and characters in Origins and the combat system has and never will stop me from enjoying it. I still have to finish some playthroughs anyway.

I think I still will. Not that I hate Dragon age 2, but because I think the two games are different enough that there will still be a reason to actually play Dragon age: Origins.

I completed "Dragon Age: Origins" once. I stepped into "DAO: Awakenings" for about an hour, and then I turned away when the most interesting character was killed during the ritual. I haven't been able to sit through another playthrough. Even though its an incredible and exciting game, I just do not have the time to play it again.

Truthfully, I do not think I have time to play "Dragon Age II". My life keeps shifting and changing. I can't stop the impending momentum that is pushing me forward.

Maybe, I still have a dual wield warrior play through to complete. If I'd realised dual wield warrior was so good one of my canon play throughs would have been as a dual wield warrior which is unfortunate. But I've completed DAO 4 times and the last one was a real grind to get through the game to get a save I wanted to import into DA2 so I may not (although I've still got another 2-3 play throughs still in progress). I definitely won't play it again until I've finished DA2 a couple of times.

I still play MechWarrior 4!

Yea but come on mechwarrior 4 was awesome, the only thing that came out after that was mercenaries (or was it black knight?) and it was basically an expansion pack type of thing. They really need to do a new mechwarrior with modern graphics.

Already being made... google the "Phoenix Mech Warrior trailer"

Also, I meant Mercenaries... not sure I've beaten 4.

Didn't they say they were expecting 2 years of DLC for Dragon Age Origins?

Well it's been a little over a year and the sequel is out...

Still might play Origins for the mods though, the Baldur's Gate 2 mod looks promising.

Unless there is a carry over decision I don't have in any of my transfers that I really want I don't expect to be playing Origins again, no. I don't find the gameplay satisfying enough and I know the story pretty well at this point.

I am not going to, I haven't really played it since ME2. I have tried, but I never care to go further than Lothering.

I just started another DA:O playthrough but I don't know if I will make it through Ostagar. I have done that section just too many times.

Mhairi wasn't interesting though. I admit I liked the idea of her prior to the release but the reality was blah. Sigrun and Nathanial were more interesting.

Yet you have time to come on here.

If you don't like Ostagar, here is an awesome mod that allows you to skip it. You lose a few items but you are still able to gain the XP.      http://social.biowar...m/project/3407/

Of course. It's not like there's some rule telling me I'm not allowed to play the first game in a series ever again after the second comes out. Or never allowed to play the second after the third comes out.

Played through Origins 4 times (which is the most I've ever done for a game) - I'm good.

I'll definently still play Dragon Age Origins after. Someone asked me once "is replaying video games is like re-reading a book you like?" and i replied if the story is good then definently. With all the different choices and the great story Dragon Age Origins brings regardless of choice, I know I'll come back.

Just an FYI.

Everyone here will at some point play DA-1 again if they play DA-2 because ONE, they own it, and TWO, they may want a dif transfer save.

---

If he'd been able to aim a bit better that Atlas might have been easier to destroy.

Funny though, the Warhammer mech was completely untouched while the Atlas lost 2 arms, lol.

Short ejection range, too...

Anyway, that company has the rights to MechWarrior now.

I'm gonna when I get my pc which is a while off yet, never experienced an RPG on 1 before.

Have a 360 but prefer the look of DAO, NWN, and BALDUR'S GATE, man I've missed out on some serious gaming. Xbox is too actiony for my liking.

Can't wait to experience DAO on a PC.
