Do you think you'll still play DA:O after they release the sequel?

Lost Odyssey, is a good RPG for the 360... takes about an hour or two of drive to play through the game but after that you're hooked for 40 hours.

Just an FYI.

Everyone here will at some point play DA-1 again if they play DA-2 because ONE, they own it, and TWO, they may want a dif transfer save.

Sense. This makes none.

It may depend on the significance of imports, but I probably will. I only got the Ultimate Edition a few months ago, and in my obsessive journey for a "perfect playthrough", which involved deleting and recreating the same basic character just because I decided I didn't like one thing they said or did or...I wasn't happy with their build, I've yet to finish the game with more than one character. I'd still like to finish the game with each origin, but...I would need some time between each one. I expect to love the sequel, but Origins will always have its own charm.

Plus, I haven't gotten all the trophies, so there's that.

I love LO. It's so underrated. One of the best Xbox JRPGs there is, not that there are all that many good ones.

Eventually, but I imagine DA2 will keep me going for a long time, just as ME2 did.

Absolutely. I have a lot left to do in DAO.

In fact, I suspect that after some experimentation with DA2, I'll return to DAO for quite a while to wrap up a number of characters I have going there. Only then will I return to DA2 and play the game in earnest.

JRPG's are Tales of Vesperia and Blue Dragon... Is LO really a JRPG?

Lost Odyssey was brilliant. Absolutely loved it!

On topic, I probably won't play DAO again for a while. I'll be too busy exploring every option in DA2.

Are you kidding? It was produced by the creator of the Final Fantasy series. It's pure pedigree JRPG, and it's brilliant. Too many people use "JRPG" as a pejorative and have knee-jerk reactions, assuming all Japanese games look and sound the same.

I deleted all my saves so I still need to play through again at some point to create a save file. I'm not going to buy DA2 until long after its release - probably wait until GOTY edition.

I think I still will. Not that I hate Dragon age 2, but because I think the two games are different enough that there will still be a reason to actually play Dragon age: Origins.

Yes!

I am trying to finish 4 runs and still missing dwarves, city elves.. I don't know how am gonna do dwarves but.. i'll try,
don't like how dwarves run, but when compare to ladyhawk's  they are sexier now  rofl.^_^

Yes, because I get an infinite sense of satisfaction when I start at the beginning of something and finish it straight through. So, once I finished a couple of imports, I will go back to Origins, finish my mage play through including Awakenings and all the DLC and import that into DA2. Uhm, yes. I'm a little OC.

I have about a dozen characters. So that's enough input for DA2 for a long time. There's still one unfinished. I might do that one if that opens up part of a story line in DA2 that I didn't cover with the others. ;)

I don't really see a reason to replay DA:O. Besides, I didn't even liked the game that much, with the slow combat and cheesy story and whatnot. If I'd do it I'll probably end up missing all the changes from DA2.

Ive just checked and i have got over 40 saved characters on Origins. This is after 10 playthroughs . I am determined to finish them all though its quite conceivable I might die first.

Not really, I've found myself dragging rather painfully on my most recent DA:O run (almost done, as I just have to go to Denerim for the endgame stage if I want to get things over with). In theory, I still have the dwarf origins & the city elf left to go, but I don't feel like I can do it again. I might try it again one day if nostalgia strikes me and I'm bored and have no new games. I must have played DA:O around four times now? Some of my characters may be on my older system, so I can't say exactly how many. :P

Yes so i can import more saves.

Same here.  I hope our choices will have a great impact on the world.  I'll probably have to make multiple playthroughs of DAO once we find out how we can shape the world.

When I got ME2, I went back and did an ME run so I could import my decisions.

If da II is not as good as origins, I will be getting it for my pc so I can build my own content to the game. As of right now I am not liking what I am hearing from the devs about DAII so that looks like a big possibility.
