I'm re-installing DA:O because I forgot a lot of the story lines and I think I'd appreaciate DA2 more with those in mind.

I don't foresee ever uninstalling DAO.

Though I do keep games installed for a long time. RIght now, I also have BG, BG2, KotOR, NWN, and Jade Empire installed.

Heck yeah. I still play every one of Bioware's RPGs that I have. Which is all of them but Sonic.

Lost Odyssey, is a good RPG for the 360... takes about an hour or two of drive to play through the game but after that you're hooked for 40 hours.

I love LO. It's so underrated. One of the best Xbox JRPGs there is, not that there are all that many good ones.

JRPG's are Tales of Vesperia and Blue Dragon... Is LO really a JRPG?

Are you kidding? It was produced by the creator of the Final Fantasy series. It's pure pedigree JRPG, and it's brilliant. Too many people use "JRPG" as a pejorative and have knee-jerk reactions, assuming all Japanese games look and sound the same.

To my knowledge, JRPG always meant "Junior" Role Play Game.

I don't play it now so I really don't see much chance of me suddenly desiring to play it after DA2.

I still play Azure Dreams and Breath of Fire 3. I'll still be playing Origins for a good few years yet at least!

This is a joke?

JRPG stands for Japanese RPG. Like Final Fantasy.

I played the original about 10 times.

Tried again in prep for DA2... couldn't do it. Burned out.

Tried Awakening, got bored.

So for now i'm playing X-Com.

Oh heck ya.  Dragon Age was a first for me in a lot of thing's.  Yes I've played NWN1 n 2, (prob gonna get flak for puttin this in here, oh well lol) Witcher Posted Image (waitin for Witcher 2), Elder Scrolls 3 & 4, (waiting for 5) n loads more. But DA:O litereally sunk me into that world with the depth of their story, with how far you actually got to experience the strenght of the relationships that they took the time to put in the game.  The graphix are excellent, the story itself is one that draws you in. There's so much about DA:O that I literally loved n even after over a yr I'm still playin it. Sad thing is I've even replayed some of my other games since Da came out but uh DA keeps drawin me bk cause none of the other games can really compare now after DA lol.   This is so defenitely a replayable game.  I truly enjoy it.  TY Bioware.

Most likely, just perhaps not for a while. But that has more to do with the fact I've already beaten Origins over ten times and need a break for a bit, rather than it being a direct result of playing the sequel. I tend to replay all parts in a series I enjoy, even after I've played the later installments.

Personally, after playing the demo, I just cannot see myself playing Dragon Age Origins for a long time. The upgrades from what I have seen have destroyed any chance I have of enjoying Origins for quite a while. To be honest it is like comparing bows to an AK-47. That is my opinion at least.

Indeed. The same thing happened with ME2.

Maybe. I stopped playing DAO partly (along with three other reasons: StarCraft II, Borderlands and Fallout: New Vegas) because I lost enthusiasm for DA2 as I learned more about it. If DA2 can restore some of that enthusiasm, I might go back to DAO to cook up a decent save to import.

Definitely. I still play the Baldur's Gate Series too. And I want to make as many different DAO saves as possible to see what importing them will do. :P

Even though I'm completely convinced I will not enjoy DA2 as much as I did Origins I don't plan on playing again. I milked every ounce of gameplay I could out of it already, and most importantly got the ending I wanted with Alistair king, Warden queen. If I end up playing it again later it will probably be because I missed Alistair! But I've spent a LOT of time on Origins, and I do have a lot of games to get to that I haven't gotten through once let alone multiple times like I did Origins.
