Topic says it all.

To my recollection, this has always been $9.99. Maybe is Atari vists these boards (yea right...) they might consider putting this one sale, and maybe potentially adding it to Steam as a DLC addon for the newly released platium edition.

One can always hope but I wouldn't hold my breath.

For the record, it is easily worth the $9.99. Ossian outdid themselves with MoW. It is a pitty things got so messy with Atari.

So it is better than Zehir? No disrespect intended to the programmers if they read this, but I preferred the style of the OC and Mask of the Betrayer

You'll like this then. It's story focused like those two (but the story is not related to those two, all new cast).

The area design in MoW is quite stunning in many places.

Confused? This is for sale? But I always see the module available for download in the IGN NWN Vault... is there something I'm missing?

Mysteries of Westgate is a premium module like Wyvern Crown of Cormyr for NWN1. Ossian was able to get permission to release their custom content (tileset, monsters, etc) for free. The custom content release is what you see on the Vault page. The module itself must be purchased and is not available on the Vault, it can be purchased through the following link. Due to Atari DRM, the module can not be opened in the toolset.

www.ossianstudios.com/mow

Well worth purchasing.

Atari probably needs to get full price for it considering all the $$$ they wasted on the massive failure that was their DRM that delayed this 18+ months after it was already completed, and effectively aborted what could have been an excellent run-on revenue stream for them relating to NWN2.

Congratulations on the incompetence lads.

Atari single handedly killed D&D.

Let me explain. Books are no longer the medium for building a fantasy brand, video games are. All the proof you need is video game sales vs paperback book sales.

So while other game worlds have had great content produced in a steady stream, Atari has tied up all the D&D licenses so we haven't seen Planescape, Dark Sun, DragonLance, etc. games. And thus crap copy cat settings like Warcraft gain prominent followings and eventually replace much richer settings.

Yay Atari?

Now release some source code.
