also no, the klingons had minor brow ridges in some of the original series, it was just a LOT of money to pay for that ****, whereas in the 80s when TNG came out, it was not.

Can't be that bad, if I had to guess I'd say you're a fan based on your ability to belt out references and comparisons to specific characters.

GgazElite is just a troll who actually believes his/her own bull****. It's very sad.

They love to complain. Had they not changed, chances are people would've complained about too much of the same.

Are you saying Power Rangers was not made of awesome? Them's fightin words!
And on the topic of Klingons, Voltair said it best:
"What is with the Klingons? Remember in the day?/
They looked like Puerto Ricans And they dressed in gold lamme/
Now they look like Heavy Metal Rockers from The Dead/
With leather pants and frizzy hair and lobsters on their heads/"
--- USS Make Sh*t Up
Seriously, though, they changed the art style, it all fits together more, in my opinion.
The Darkspawn redesign has grown on me, they more closely resemble their stock race, which makes them more unsettling. Especially the Emissary that shows up in the demo. That thing was creepy lookin.

no u didnt, honestly the only model where i went "hmm i prefered the original" was the ogre, and honestly i can deal with that, everything else looks either as good, (Darkspawn) or spectacularly better (armor, weapons)

Honestly, can some folks just not prefer how the Hurlocks used to look? Me, I more miss the Genlocks. Poor little guys.

As seen in the screenshot above, no they didn't. In fact, the reason the Klingons got used more than Romulans back then, despite the writers thinking Romulans were more interesting, is because of the cost of the prosthetic ears for Romulans, while all they needed for Klingons was some makeup for the faintly racist skintone.
My only issue with the new models is that all the Hurlocks I've seen so far have pretty much the same model; some variety would be nice, especially with all the close-ups in the demo... but hardly an issue to shout about, as far as I'm concerned.

Based on the demo, certainly, the faces aren't good.the_one_54321 wrote...
I'm not too unhappy with the updated models. Some things do bother me, though. Not really the art style, mostly it's face models.
I also think the running animations are poor, but they're bad enough that I'm confident they'll be better in the full game. BioWare's better than that.
