I just wanna throw out there that I pre-ordered DAO for the PC at Gamestop and so far nothing horrible or disastrous has happened and I've had this pre-order since early June...

Yeah man Gamestop sux I went in there few days ago to buy the new cabela game and they says "we dont carry the pc version" and i says "I hate you that you only got the xbocks" and they said K.

well if u have countless gamestop in ur area... some gamestop have pc some not.... most of my gamestop had pc games and consoles games... only one of my gamestop dont have pc xD

From my experience most Gamestop's used to carry PC games a few years ago, but since PC gaming has been tanking (at least in comparison to console gaming) as of late many stores have since reduced their selection quite dramatically. The one that is closest to my home used to have a whole wall dedicated to PC gaming not even two years ago, yet now all they have is one sad little rack in the middle of the store that can only hold a copy or two of the more successful PC games and nothing else.

It's really just a sign of the times I'm afraid. Still I'd honestly be shocked if those stores refused to order the game for someone simply because they refused to carry it in their official stock. A profit is a profit is a profit, as they say. Why lose a potential sale simply because you don't sell a particular game on the shop floor?

Yeah... PC games will take a long time to vanish... but it is sad. The only gamestop I know of with a wall of PC games is there flagship store on Broadway and 33rd street in NY, NY. Two floors, and the main wall was PC not 3 years ago... now it's for 360. PC games now only have a side wall... but at least they still have a PC for Demos customers can use.

Yesterday, I went into Gamestop to purchase a brand new shiny copy of Borderlands for the PC. They told me they had only received one copy. 1 copy. ONE. ONE. Who the hell fills out an ordering sheet for ONE copy of a game?

Was that 100 copies?

Woah. I have no love for gamstop myself. But i think you need to eat some food and watcha  movie then come back and post something about them!

To be completely honest, I didn't even know Gamestop sold PC games until people on the forums started talking about preordering from them. None of my local Gamestops sell PC games, and if they do I can never seem to find them.
