Which of the changes you dislike the most ?

What I don't understand is, why they simply won't put an option for on "old school" camera in. that would have countered literally thousands of complaints ...
I hope for a patch or a hack!

This. The UI in general disappoints me.

The strange in game pausing and loading.
I like most of the other changes.
This. I also dislike the lack of background choice too.
I'm okay with it. I'd trade no background choices for a better developed character. We'll see if that works out.
Yes, of course. You're quite right.

These two, although I wouldn't call art design terrible. Step down from Origins though.
Third would be button smashing. I hate it. Hopefully there will be an auto attack option...
Otherwise seems to be an ok game, nothing spectacular. Combat seems to be less tactical and more hack n' slash though which is a step down from Origins. I don't know if it's just the demo though.

It's there for both the consoles and PC. They really should put up a FAQ at this point *sigh*

I think that out of all changes so far presented, I dislike these the most in following order:
-Absurd magical abilities of every character in combat-like Rogue teleporting, Ninja-Mages, Magical Archery
-Lack of choice in background
-Terrible art design
What are your top three picks?
I like the overall graphics change in fact I would say the new art design is amazing, And I like the new combat style.

THIS
THIS
A MILLION TIMES THIS
I used that feature constantly in DA:O to get a feel for the battle, target weakened opponents, focus tanks on big health bars, focus AOEs on groups of weakened opponents, etc. It was a very important strategy element for me. I can rotate the camera well enough, and am not overly bothered by the lack of top-down. But the Tab for Health Bars things drove me insane during the demo.
Otherwise, I had no problems. I enjoyed everything else about the demo.

It's the only thing I'm not too fond of. The Darkspawn, Isabela, Anders (What if he died in Awakening), Merrill, ect. Just seems like too much.
Like I've said before I don't like it as of now but I'll hold judgement on it until I actually play through the whole game.

That I can't target targets with AOE-spells, though Peter Thomas (?) said that that is in the full game. I also dislike roundhouse-kicking bottles.... All the other animations are fine, though.
I love the roundhouse bottle kick tbh. One of my favorites.

The Japanese hack&slash style combat animations definitely something i wouldn't want to see in any WRPG.
You've never really played a JRPG have you? They're turn based... less hack and flash than even the original Dragon Age.

However, I do intensely dislike being unable to change the companion's armor.
I also am not a fan at all of the "over the top - anime style" over-sized weapons.
And finally, both of these major concerns would be alleviated with a toolset update - which if we do get one, looks as if will not be available until well after my first couple of playthroughs.
Here's hoping that since the new game was created with the same toolset as the original (simply updated in various ways) talented modders can use existing tools to address all these concerns.
And for what it is worth, I symapthize with console players who must play the game without mods.

I don't think people think DW when thinking of JRPG more so Bayonette and Devil May Cry.

Not to nitpick, fellas, but thats not retconning. That's redesign. A retcon would be like if they decided that someone other than Loghain decided to quit the field at Ostagar.
On topic: I don't have a problem with any of the changes. Why? Because I'm going to base my opinions on the full game, not an old demo, and on the merits of the game itself, not comparing it to what came before, which is like comparing apples and oranges, imo.
