Here is website link for more information. Hopefully, most of you are familiar with this. I would personally say that my 80P/60R Shepard would be a category IV anti-hero.

Anyway, none. My Shepard is a straight-up hero.

No, I didn't. Anyway, my Shepard is very fond of the "Pay Evil unto Evil" trope.

Close enough. Ah well. My Shepard feels that paying evil unto evil simply, well, makes more evil.

The whole point of the sliding scale of anti-heroes is for characterization purposes. I would not consider category II's anti-heroes but they contrast with a knight in shining armor in that their idealism is usually a bit more limited. As far as "pay evil unto evil" trope is concerned, I personally think straight heroes are pretty boring so I gave him a bit of an edge. I don't personally agree with everything my Shepard does (I'm way more merciful than he is) but I roleplay a particular character other than myself.

She might go into type 2, but I don't think she's unidealistic enough.

Justin Shepard - probably type IV
Simone Shepard - somewhere between type II and III, probably closer to III
James Shepard - a cross between type I and type V

the rest of my Shepards range between sugar sweet chaotic good to lawful neutral

Mine is a type II, being a type III earlier in her career.

Yeah, more type IVs baby! My Shepard is usually ruthless towards his enemies and protects innocent people.

Shep 1: type IV

Shep 2: type III maybe? unless dealing with batarians or any other race she doesn’t see as “people” in which case her actions are more type IV.

Shep 3: mostly just hero, with some type III tendencies I suppose.

Shep 4: Considering this is my screw up everyone possible Shep, as bad as the game allows you to be. So between type IV and type V.

I have many Shepards, and a lot of them would fit into Type IV. They're good examples of "evil on your side." There are a few in Type III, but none in Type I or II. My EvilShep is a Type V though. The only thing that could ever make him seem like a good guy is the fact that he has some standards and happens to be fighting even worse guys (the Reapers).

Type III -> Type II

He starts off a bit stand-offish and overly sarcastic. Mellows down after bonding with his original squad.

Just curious which one of these is your main Shepard. I get the sense that you actually take the time to characterize your Shepard.

My Paragade Skich is a very hardline type three.

Hazel my renegade is a type four. (she did blow up the collector base so she can't be too evil right?)

Colonist/SS - Type III, with a few moments flirting with Type IV in ME1. Got more straightforwardly heroic in ME2, though that may have been just because she hates Cerberus.
Spacer/War Hero - Simply a hero
Earthbord/War Hero - very much a type II

My Shepard actually has more paragon points than renegade ones but has murdered too many people in cold blood to be qualified for the category 3 anti-hero.
