I know there has been a billion of these threads, but i want to see actual statistics now that the demo has been released. So which will you play, and for what reasons?

Bethany dying just... bothers me.

I will start first with DW Rogue.....after much consideration. I always play 2H warrior first, but Lady Hawke just looks strange wielding a sword taller than her...I don't know.....a rogue moves fast and sexy all around the battle. I can't believe how many times I disappeared from the Ogre when he was trying to hit me. "You missed and I'm stabbing your back~"

All of them but female first and then all again but as a male. I say that now but we shall see once I actually play the game. Then the only thing to change would be the gender.

Always play as a mage first. SO mage and plus I don't feel like having Bethany around my first play through.

It always bugged me that you couldn't be a hybrid in these games .



I mean arcane warrior was basically just a mage that wore some armor, he didn't get any melee abilities. Warrior types in Bioware games have always been pretty dull (at least since baldur's gate) unless you multiclassed. Let's hope warriors aren't boring in this one.

I can't get over warrior and rogue fighting in such a cartoony and impossibly acrobatic fashion - so I'll stick to counjuring fireballs out of thin air because I find it more plausible! How ironic is that?

Plus these new mages kick ass.

Plus from what we've seen I'm not a fan of Bethany's voice acting...

Well the official trailer Hawke is a mage so it seems like a good choice to play the face of the franchise.

I will start of being a rogue archer though. Rogue archer was my favorite in DAO and after trying out all of the classes and weapon skills in the demo I am definitely starting with archery
