Hi guys, i'm currently using an ASUS A42JC Laptop with a 1GB Nvidia 310M graphics card. However, when i run the system scan in the config utility it can only detect the generic integrated graphics card. This is not the first time I have problems with the Nvidia Optimus technology... updated all my drivers and they didn't seem to work... =(
Anyone with any advice on this?
Configuration Utility cannot detect my Nvidia Graphics card

With a 310, it makes almost no noticeable difference anyway, because the 310 is just way too far beliow the minimum, hardly any different in game play from anything that Intel makes, and actually worse than the onboard Chipset video that nVIDIA includes in some Chipsets as the "9300M". If you had the Geforce 335 version of that two-way system, it would be different, since that one has a budget level graphics capability that the 310 lacks (but is also very problematic at getting it working).

hmmm.. actually in the end i realized it's just a problem with the configuration utility itself. it failed to detect my card, but when I ran a third party nvidia optimus tester it detected that the demo is indeed running with the my 310m card.
After i switch the directx render to directx 9 (it is reported in a separate thread that dx11 have some issues) i managed to run at 'medium' graphics with my laptop's full resolution smoothly. Don't know if it could run high since it would require the problematic dx11.
