My first BioWare game was Neverwinter Nights, which I bought in... 2006, I think. I had heard it was similar to Morrowind (haha, no), so I picked it up with unrealistic expectations and hated it. I also tried KOTOR PC and Sonic Chronicles (yes, really) and didn't care for either of those.

Based on a friend's recommendation, I picked Mass Effect up on a Steam sale in 2009. I didn't care for it at all, mainly because Shepard was such an ass, and abandoned it just a few hours in. Came back to it a couple months later, started a female character, and loved it. Since then, I've played ME2 and DAO to completion, and am in the process of completing the original Baldur's Gate and replaying DAO.

I started playing Bioware games since Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic came out on Xbox in 2002. KOTOR is the best game in the Stars Wars franchise to this day!

Star Wars: Rebellion would like to talk to you.

Not interested in what they're selling, thank you!

Started with BG and went something like this:

Baldurs Gate.

BG2 all expansions

NWN1 all expansions

KotOR 1 & 2 (I know they didnt make 2 but they influenced it)

NWN2 (I know they didnt make 2 but they influenced it)

DAO (almost all DLC except Wardens Keep and Golems of A)

Jade Empire

DA2

I'm probably missing somehting...

I also started RPing when I was about 10 or 12... red box set... then AD&D then AD&D2, shadowrun, ....

Yes, I'm a Geek... but I hear its in these days.... just ask Twenty Sided.

Started playing with Baldur's Gate 2, my all-time favourite rpg, especially with all the excellent mods you can get for it. Then went back and played BG1 and then went on to play just about everything with the name Bioware on it.

You misunderstand...

Star Wars: Rebellion is thought to be the greatest Star Wars franchise from over 10 years back...

It literally put space-tactic's in a new light...

Essentially, it's what Empire at War wished it could be, of course Empire at War came out a long time after.

Point is that Rebellion was always known as the best of the franchise.

Oh Boy I was just a little boy when I saw that mystic game on the dest of my best friends big brother.

So I just borrowed the game. Maby it was the year 1999 and I was 13. I even hated to read things and and I haved played allmost the hole game without knowing that I can actually pause the game with hitting the spacebar.

But somehow since then I fall in love with bioware games.

And now I am 25 and nothing has changed, BioWare rules...

Shattered Steel was my first and that was back in... 1996? I've played every Bioware game since then with the exceptions of MK2 and Sonic. This company has given me a ridiculous number of fond gaming memories. They are definitely one of my favorites.

Now I feel like I need to go through boxes and dig out some of my old CDs. :)

It was in 2006. I had bought a new PC dual core, a top of the line $300 graphics card (which got obsolete faster than I could say obsolete), 17" LCD and other stuff costing me around $1200 at that time. I was in college and my room mate had a copy of Diablo II, I played the game a bit but I didn't like it much.

Then my friend got me KOTOR and that game blew me away.

Then KOTOR II, Jade empire, ME, ME II, DAO, Witcher and few others. I love bioware style RPGs.

Especially ME series, ME I for story and ME II for combat. The best Sci-Fi world ever created.

There are many games that entertain you but there is only one that makes you feel special and that's Mass Effect. It may or may not have been a good RPG but that is one awesome game deserving every bit of acknowledgment it gets.

PS: I only played DAO first time because its an bioware game, and the next ten times because of Morrigan. There I said it.

I started with Baldur's Gate in the year it was released. Didn't really enjoy the games until I started modding them. If not for mods, several games wouldn't be in my library.
