Does anyone know which of these sets is the best for getting good fatigue bonuses along with overall low fatigue in Awakening?
I'm currently using Wade's Superior Dragonscale gloves/boots along with Evon's mail since thast seemed to be the most popular pick for an offensive 2h build due to excellent fatigue bonuses and low fatigue on the gear. I tried out Cailan's but ended up giving it to Oghren because I ended up wheezing for breath more often than I do with my current gear. The Evon's + Wade's combo beats the other sets by about 10% less fatigue, and of all the sets I listed, it's the only one that has stamina regen while in combat and a +stamina bonus. Should I just stick with this? It's a shame because the other sets look a lot nicer, but I just don't see them beating my current set stat wise. I can run more toggles at once and use more special attacks before having to either de-toggle some abilities or pause to suck stamina draughts

For a quick grind I usually run with warden's after having it upgraded to dragonbone by the weaponsmith. With either Rock knocker helm or ancient elven, never have had issues with stam.

And you can get it before either of the pieces you mentioned.  Janar in Orz sells the helm, the hermit trades for the helm,  and the DLC is availible after Lothering.  All availible prior to Evon's or Wade's sets are availible.  For a small bit of coin for the rebuy that is, still cheaper than Evon's.

I only go for Cailins if I'm looking for dodge, and even then I dont bother with the set.

Do you solo run the game as a 2h warrior?
If not then by all means go with the Sentinel Armor. Fatigue is not important and even if it shows -30% or so it's (-) limit is -25%. You should also not spam your abilities but use them as necessary.
To go constant critical hits have a mage cast death hex on your target, to do more damage have a rogue with song of courage active. That's overkill already. The only necessary talens you should use in combat would have to be sunder arms and armor maybe pummel strike against mages. Pair it up with death blow you will never run out of stamina and if you do use second wind.
I will continue working on my two handed warrrior soon and that's what I'll do.
If you are that worried about fatigue you can equip the armor with endurance runes for a -5% fatigue each.

good call, I did some more research and found out that I was spamming my special attacks too much. Sentinel is working great

No. There could be rare situations (can't really remember any right now) where you shouldn't, but in general you should spam abilities to maximize your damage. If you could do more damage with an ability than an autoattack, why not use that ability? You have enough that you'd never have to wait long for a cooldown. And with Death Blow, you have enough stamina to spam.

Not 2h Sweep? The best ability a 2h warrior has in Origins. In Awakening there are more AoE talents that you definitely should also be using when you can.

Just finished awakening as a 2h warrior. Only abilies I used in it were Grevious Insult and Massacre. In origins perhaps you may want to spam abilities. However in both DAO and Awakening abilities have generally a slower execution rate than an auto attack. Now if you run with 1 mage, and he/she has "haste" active, and you have beyond the veil, your auto attacks will be faster than a rogue. So if you want to do attacks like sunder arms which will be slow and 2 hits alright, but with haste and beyond the veil you will be able to deal out 3-4 attacks in the same time generating more damage.

You're right, it probably is all different in Awakening. I've played 2h warrior many (=3) times in Origins but played something else every time in Awakening.

Not sure it makes much sense to talk balance in Awakening though. If there was any last shred of it left after the insane abilities you get for the base class, Beyond the Veil will make sure it's completely gone.
