One of the posters claims basically that pc gamers are more likely to go to college than console gamers... Sounds like elitism to me :/
^ But it's true, isn't it? (
I was reading one user's complaints on Gamespot and apparently he didn't like it because the blood smears on the face were too graphic...
... so apparently he wasn't familiar with the "Dragon Age" environment.

I don`t get why everyone hates on the combat being totally different when the mechanics are the same. It plays exactly like Origins, just this time your character is faster to do it. I actually think this might make the game harder (which I think it needed to be) because everything will be more fast paced instead of what Origins had.
I don't get it either. Oh well.

That's the first comment from the Eurogamer impressions website. That comment pretty much nailed what a lot of people think of the way Bioware took the game. I'm still going to get the Signature Edition, but I still feel that Bioware may have cut off a lot of what I liked from the first game.

I have a Bachelor's degree and I will be playing DA2 on xbox 360... anyways, I wonder whether the people playing the demo realize that it is an old build and many things have been disabled in the demo that will be available in the full game.
omg....me too~

It's usually a good idea to head into these things with the understanding that those who feel negatively tend to be more likely to post in forums and reply to articles about these sorts of things than those who were either positive or neutral. Does that mean that we don't take any of this into consideration? No, of course not - there are always valid and useful criticisms to take into consideration.
'Thanks for ruining RPGs', however, is rarely a valid or useful criticism.

Bioware should never release eny demo in the future there is to many BG2 fanfreaks on forums.
Let me get this straight...Biowares old fans are somehow "freaks" for wanting a true spiritual successor to the greatest RPG of all time (besides Planescape: Torment). Did I get that right?

I haven't heard anyone ask for a BioWare to do a equal to the Quest for Glory series. However, I'd support it if they did so.Lennonkun wrote...

"True spiritual successor" is a pathetic mystifying word.

I agree, constructive criticism is good, but most of what I saw there was "B10W4R3 5UX LOL CONSOLE GAMERS RUINED GAMES! BAAW" When like above posters have said, DA2 is faster than Origins but plays nearly the same.JohnEpler wrote...

Apparently line-list dialogue with an unspoken and expressionless protagonist and isometric top down strategic camera are the cornerstones of role-playing games. Since neither feature in DA2, DA2 is no longer an RPG. Who'd have thought?
Can't forget the "hack'n'slash" combat as well, can we? A true RPG must not under any circumstances have flashy combat.
