That should help to ease your worries.

If I could, I would erase her from existance.

Funny how he doesn't like the ending, even though DA2 probably has multiple endings

Risen has only gotten like 5-6 and i still love it =P
But, im disappointed about a LOT of things in Dragon Age 2 so far. I still have my preorder, though i changed it from PC to Ps3 after testing the demo.

Controller seems better but I'm primarily a console gamer now so I don't have the affinity with M/K that I did. It took me years to unleran it so it's not likely to come back any time soon I just don't play enough PC games.

The ending is kind of obvious from the start. Hawke goes missing.

Oh hey look, it's the breast hater. What's up breast hater?

Breasts. In every woman's face in DA:II. Those things are practically anti-gravity. I'm surprised all the females in the game don't give themselves black eyes everytime they run. Seriously, Isabella looks like she has a clone of Vin Diesel's head growing out of each side of her chest. It's like if I lifted up her dress I'd see his twin faces looking down at me both saying "Hey - let's play some Dungeons and Dragons".

Really, she could wet-nurse an ogre with those things.

Not to mention the fact that I suspect that Flemeth will turn out to be the Kreia of DA2.

Just curious--would you consider that a good or a bad thing, if it turns out to be true?

Dragon Age will be an RPG above all the others. I know whom I'm loyal to.

I agree with the OP-I have similiar feelings. Looks like it is the end of Bioware as we know...

The bioware you know had a niche audience of a few thousand people

I know you're mad that bioware is popular now, but it's time to come to terms with reality

Kreia was an amazing character. High point of KOTOR II

It very much depends on how it's handled rather than the outcome.

From a very old BG source

The game was a financial success, selling over 2 million copies worldwide

Maybe add a few 000's or google before you post something so factually incorrect.

I won't be pre-ordering, I'm going to wait to see what actual gamers think rather than reviewers. This will the first Bioware game I've not pre-ordered, the demo has put me right off and I won't risk my money up front just for a few free baubles from EA. I didn't like the Street Fighter combat, the removal of the tactical camera is mind boggling and I don't like the consolised dialouge wheel which only gives you a rough idea of what your character will say. I do hope I'm wrong, if I am I'll just grab it off Steam.
Note to fanboys: This is my opinion and I'm entitled to it, remember that before you begin to foam at the mouth while looking for some ever so witty picture or comment to reply with.

Concerning the query about Kreia and Flemeth, to be honest it depends.

The main problem with Kreia in KotoR 2 is that it is plainly obvious that she will turn out to be the betrayer and is manipulating (though to be fair, I think that originally this was supposed to be dependant on your choices and Atris might be the evil one in some) yet you are forced to keep her around, listen to her "advice" despite being an experienced Jedi who doesn't need her to boss you around. Not to mention her super plot makes no sense. If Flemeth ends up being like that, then I would have a problem with it.

If Flemeth is manipulating the main character to her own ends, then that's fine and also in character. But I would not like it if all revolves around a convoluted plot she has supposedly been weaving since before DA: Origins and where somehow everything has gone the way she wanted.

Sure, she can be more than an abomination, as Morrigan hinted at, but she certainly should not end up being an Old God or Andraste or something like that. So it has to be logical and consistent and they should not conjure up some vage superconspiracy plot (like killing the Maker or whatever).

If you say "From a source" you should link it

Regardless. If someone denies that Bioware isn't more popular than they previously were, they are sadly deluded

I can't understand if people lose interest in a game what are they doing in the forums posting about it?

I can understand if people feel that some changes are not what they like but when all interest is lost there really is no reason to hang around anymore?

I have myself followed a couple of games in development stages over the years, looking for new; screenshots, videos, previews, reviews and reading forums.

Once or perhaps twice it has happend that after some bad reviews that I really lost interest in the game, but after that there was no longer any point to stay around in forums waitng for the game so I left, never to been seen again..... but ye I guess people act differently.

Pretty much

"I'm so uninterested in this game, I'm gonna post on it's forums, telling people how uninterested I am in it. Take THAT Bioware"

Seriously, people, look at the facts. Everything has become limited. Story has said to be weak. Copy and pasted areas. This game HAS been dumbed down.

You know what would go great with all of this whine? CHEESE! Someone needs to find out what happened to Alistair's true love so that we may cut it into equal shares for everyone to enjoy. Who says no to free cheese? BRING IT.

Lack of anything better to do.
Also these forums are much more active than many others throughout the day and night.
What better place to express your opinion than where there are many people to listen.

so ratings like 88/100 is mediocre? That's pretty good, sure most reviewers seem to have forgot that 50/100 should be what an average game gets but the average (for AAA games at least) is around 70 or higher but it's not like DA2 have been getting that bad reviews.

DAO have a rating of 86/100 on metacritic... just saying

oh really now, last time i read something it's not like we are visitng five different caves that all look the same rather we see the same areas a few times and there is nothing wrong with that, there we're several quests in the same areas in DAO too wasn't there?
Seriously I'd rather have bioware design one good location and use that 3 times rather than using 3 different but mediocre areas...

I'm not going to let reviews put me off, that's one persons opinion, not mine, I'll play the full game and make my own mind up.

Compared a couple of weeks ago ? Very much so. The demo seems to have split people into 3 groups.

1. Those that hate the changes
2. Those that say "wait until the full game and it will all be good"
3. Those that like the changes.

I don't buy into option 2 , the demo is representative of the game, so if the demo puts you off, I doubt the game would change that.

The demo HAS split up the community, there's no doubt about that.     Translation?  Alot of people who were sure only a couple of weeks ago they were going to buy DA2 are now sitting on the fence about purchasing this game.

I bet that all of the people, or at least the majority, will be ruing the day they cancelled their Dragon Age 2 pre-order.
