First time poster, I just felt the need to voice my opnion. I have 2 corrupted save files. One is prepatch and the other is post patch total of 125 hrs combined. It bothers me the fact that my ME2 experience will end on a sour note like this. Myabe Ill try again during the summer sometime, as of right now I need to walk away.

Ah crap, isn't the new patch supposed to fix this problem?
I lost 20+ hours gameplay when I first got the game, I was pretty pissed off.
Then again, the game itself is really good, so I just built my second Shepard.
But 125 hours? Now that's insanity.

How do play 125 hours in Mass Effect 2? It only took me about fifty-five hours to complete everything in the game.

It wasn't that hard to rack up that many hours. I'm a completist, when it comes to games. In ME2 case, I explored everything, mined all planets, every nook an cranny. My first save had 79 hrs and second save was 46 hrs.

Does this mean that the new patch that came out a few days ago doesn't work !? I had to start a new male Shepard character and have been worried that this was going to happen again . The first character was lost after 70+ hours of game play . I thought the downloaded patch was supposed to fix this error but if it is still happening than Bioware needs to be informed of this ASAP. Kinda nervous about going forward with my 2nd start over male Shepard character after reading about this.

sure is a shame that we have to play a game, in constant fear of our save files corrupting. . .

When is Bioware gonna learn to get this kind of stuff worked out before launch date?
