Just guessing blindly but Skyrim comes out Nov 11th, so maybe ME3 will be released on Nov 1st or 8th (a Tuesday).

If we're lucky.  So far it's slated for a late december release.

For the sake of polish, I would surely welcome a slight pushback of the release date (about 1 or 2 months - that would mean a Jan/Feb 2012 release).

They should release it when they feel the game is ready.

If pushing back the release date means more features, more polish, and better overall presentation, then yes, they should most definitely push it back. I'd really rather avoid a repeat of the old KOTOR 2 debacle (And yes, I know that wasn't Bioware. Just using it to make a point.)

According to the IGN homepage, ME3 has a release date of 30th December 2011

I wouldn't mind it being pushed back slightly to give me some extra time with all the other good games coming out in the back-half of this year, 'cause once I get my hands on ME3 I won't be playing anything other game for at least another month and a half.

Honestly yes I think it's a little rushed as I would prefer them to do large changes rather than just tweaks.  It helps to make every game in the series, unique.  Yes most of the work is done in regards to story and the gameplay engine but I want more combat tweaks, general gameplay tweaks(such as no mining), a more open level design, and more weapon and armor choices.  We're not even talking about the large choice variables.

Nonsense, Canadians are infallible. I don't want Bioware turning into Id Software.

How about some of those other games push their release dates back to make way for the excellence that is Mass Effect 3? (kicks Duke Nukem Forever into infinity).

well said DominusVita well said

and even if they had not been planning since ME the events of ME3 are gonna be continuations of events from ME and ME2 any way and combat is gonna be almost the same as ME2 which lets face it is the biggest thing games combat oriented games have to worry about

I'd just want to see a Nazgul flying.

Also, this thread is interesting in retrospect. Congratulations to those who have advanced to an IQ higher than 2. You really do see through all stupidity, providing us blind sheep with useful information, correct predictions, and insightful analysis!

Forever your humble servant,
