It depends on where you live, I guess. They enforce it pretty strictly at every game/electronics store I've been to here. My brother actually got carded trying to buy Halo 2 because he was still 15 at the time. He'd already gotten parental consent for the game though, so I bought it for him. And since I apparently look like I'm barely past high school despite being in my mid-twenties, I get asked for ID when buying M-rated games all the time.

On Topic: For my first play with my rogue m!Hawke, Isabela. Mostly because she seems to fit him best, from how I intend to play his personality. I'll go for Merrill with my grumpy male mage next, and probably Fenris with my female 2Her. If I still feel like playing a female mage after all that, I'll go for Anders.

Well I never quite liked Isabela a whole lot, neither in Origins nor what I've seen from her in Dragon Age 2 so that leaves me with Merrill. And honestly, I am more than fine with that. There's always Fenris and Anders.

I was all excited about Fenris even when I heard rumours of Anders return (I thought he was cute and funny in DA:A in a puppy kind of way not a zomghawtness kind of way) but since his official reveal I'm all excited over him. I think it may have to be my FemMageHawke and Anders skipping off into the sunset/dying a horrible fiery death together.

Not confirmed by anymeans but the speculation leads that direction yes.

Also Mary Kirby wrote her. Who wrote Sten and some of Loghain in Origins...

So don't exect a Lelianna clone if that's what you mean.

Well, I'm to decide yet.

I don't like Isabela's look but if her personality is interesting enough, I'll give it a try. not in my first playthrough though.

That leaves me with Merrill whom I find neutral in all aspects but a little more appealing than the former.

Yeah, but with the timeskips, you could potentially go three years before getting caught!
