I'm predisposed to like Anders, but I'll have to see how it works out. Fenris sounds interesting, too. The torture of it, being presented with two such compelling LIs! If Merrill gets all Dalish on Marian (harping on oppression, etc.), that will rule her out, but if she's more than Aerie v2.0, she might be an option for any bi PCs I might run. Isabela? No. I don't imagine any of my PCs will ever be that desperate.
That said, if there's a chance of a one-nighter with Varric, Marian's up for it.
Who are you going to try and build a LI with?

Me too. I really liked Anders in Awak, but I'm afraid that they've Oghrenized him - Taken a likable dude & compleatly warped him until you want to leave him at the keep with the hopes that an ogre will come by & squish him. I could be wrong, we'll see, though.

I'm going back and forth mentally on how sure I am about this, but right now I'm 99% certain my first Hawke (2h warrior) will try for Anders. Their goals are the same, but there might be some clashes in their methodology. I'll just have to see how it works out for them.
I am going wholly stereotypical with my female rogue and she'll end up with Isabela because I love the idea of them being sexy ninjas all over Kirkwall together.
Merrill is probably the LI least likely to get one of my Hawkes. Part of it is an allergy to how she's being presented as clumsy, socially awkward and virginal, but mostly I'm thoroughly creeped out by the whole Vaughn-voice/female elf thing.

Never been carded at a bar or shop, its the facial hair, just grow mutton chops like me and a chin strap.....so I guess more mutton strap? But it keep it well trimmed.......a goatee works to, make it look like GF's.....(Gordon Freeman's)
