Waiting for a message from mother saying my game has arrived...squee like a alittle girl...then realise i have to wait for the 20th before i can play it as thats when i'm next home for the weekend . And thus i shall be attempting and failing to avoid the forums like the plague from release.

I got an important meeting thing till 12 on release day then after that ill run to the nearest game store and get the game get home and not do anything els for the rest of the weekend. Except maybe i have to work a little depending on the meeting. Man i hope not.

Careful... I canceld my preorder of TDU2 becaue it didn't even SHIP on the launch day, but they sent it anyway... a WEEK LATER.  Still going in circles with Atari (asn't ordered from Amazon, but still) over the returns (yes, back in beginning of Jan THEY canceled my preorder, so I ordered again, yet hey sent BOTH copies) and the overdraft on my CC that it caused.

On release day I'll be waking up early to go do some last minute things in town and by the time I return the game should already be on my doormat, waiting to be played. Then it's a few days of non-stop playing before I go to Belgium for a week.

I've pre-ordered quite a few games from Amazon and they've always arrived before 12pm on day of release. Batman Arkham Asylum even arrived at 8am.

If it doesn't and you end up with two copies, one from Amazon and one from the retail store you can always choose which to send it back to. Amazon is pretty good with returns in my experience.

Yes, people read the manuals... they usually had snippets of story that isn't in the game.

*Stock up on snacks whilst waiting for the postman
*Open the box
*Install it to my xbox hard drive
*Read the manual until it is done installing
*Play it and ignore everything/everyone around me

I imagine playing DA2 will be all I do for 2 weeks before my Birmingham trip at the end of March.

I'll have one class on that tuesday so I'll go to that, afterwards, I'll go pick it up from my mailbox and then I'm playing that for the rest of the day haha. I dunno if I'm skipping soccer or not yet. We'll see.

You said it, it also gains you evil points when you trade it in. I think games companies should start focusing on that fact to help curb the second hand market "You can buy it second hand, but has the manual been flagged? muahaha".
