DA2 dumbed down? How?

None of us have played the full game so how do we know it is "dumbed down"?
What's been stripped out of DA2 that was in Origins? I'd really like to know!
Is it the fact that there is no longer the same tactical view? Is it the combat? Because really, these are the only things we've really seen so far.
Now my intention for this thread is NOT to have another ranting session, instead I just want to get some facts about this "dumbed down" label.
So unless you have something concrete to contribute towards justifying a "dumbed down" label, please don't bother.
Go!

Protip: If a demo fails to grasp its audience then it bodes ill for the game.

Y'know a demo is suppose to be a first-look/preview of the actual game, hands-on experience. It's not mind staggering to think that opinions can't form about the game...
Or did the purpose of a demo change when I wasn't looking?

Yes, that's exactly what I think. I'd really like to hear from the dumb-downers though. They must know something we don't right?

nothing wrong with basing ur opinion on combat since that was to me the main focus. but alot are forming opinions on the story and other functions that were not the main focus.Anathemic wrote...

I will admit that at least for now, based on what we've seen from the demo, combat has shifted from battling few (sometimes a bit more), but powerful enemies, to fighting mini-bosses with a lot of "filler-henchmen" is something of a bother, because we have more massive fights in which more enemies die rather quickly, but to be honest, that's where this notion stems from - with the death of multiple foes at once and very flashy combat.
As always, I'll reserve my judgement until I get to play the full game, but until then, I'm not leaning on speculation.

The OP was focusing on gameplay aspects and I assume that's what his point was, again there's no reason for people to be shocked and disgusted when people judge a demo to be a representation of a game, that's what a demo is.

The Dev's themselves have said basically its to sell the game, see if a person likes it or not. Many people don't visit this place and have no idea about the game. Marketing a demo helps with that.

"Click here if you want to be good"
"Click here if you want to be bad"
It's exactly the same as mass effect conversation system, which I disliked because of this.
The only difference is that now it displays an icon.
Most people won't even read what they're answering...
EDIT: This is one of my favorite games, and i'm really looking forward for it. I just think the conversations are dumbed down a bit. sadly...

You are wrong there is no good and bad option in the dialouge eg. using the threat tone at the templar saying if he touches beth or goes near her he will punch him in the face.

Ok, then <click here to say what a good guy would say>. Consequences are a different topic. Doesn't matter
