Personally I would not recommend it as a playable class, get's boring.
But if you inted to do it and evetually plan to get Sentinel Armor, and have the Vigils Keep dlc, then play as the Elf, because the armor texture is bugged on humans. Assuming you play on the xbox as your profile says.

Being able to wear massive armor does not mean one has to do so, nor does one have to auto-attack in melee. Sling those spells! Pick the look that suits you as the Player, and have fun!

AW shines with no armor, why weigh yourself down.

Because unless you are playing solo you should be the main tank.

Well you know except for the ears they look the same, at least to me.

But you should go Elf for the insignificant boost to magic as a Arcane Warrior.

Though.....if you wanna be a mage fighter.....Reaver/Templar/Spirit Warrior is alot better and more rewarding. (Big damage, 100% dodge, 100% Spell Immune and you can actualy use talents and hit your opponents) This build would kill a regular arcane warrior.

If your going for a male warden and you want to actually look like a man in your armor then human hands down.Elves and women can pull off light and medium armor but look ridiculous in massive Imo.

Edit: Excluding the dwarven women who can pull it off with the stocky build

Her point was Sentinal armor is bugged on the human model.

It occurs when you have the warden's keep dlc. warden's armor overlaps it.

I love the look of the Diligence Armor set, myself. It's a solid choice for an Arcane Warrior as well.

There are tons of mods for armour, and bugfixes, aka, the sentinel bug to be found of the dragon age nexus.
